I went to Fantastic Sam’s to get small trim and clean up my long layers. Unfortunately the stylist I was paired up with had other plans. She cut off 6 inches of my hair and made really chunky and uneven layers. I am embarrassed to have walked out of that chair. She said my old hair was “boring” and my new hair is “exciting”. I wanted to keep my hair long so I can cut it after I graduate college. I didn’t catch her name but she has purple hair and speaks Japanese.

Came here for deep conditioning treatment. The japanese lady with puple hair was very rough to my hair she pulled my hair very hard while she shampooing my hair. I noticed that she is very gentle with other but not me. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! look like they judge you the way you dress.. if your not wearing a nice clothes they will think you won’t give them tip.

Came in for a walk in, lady in front told me to sign in and wait on the side and it will be quick, but then I end up waiting for 40 minutes!!!! Finally go in to get a cut and ask the lady for a “short spike” and she tells me but it’s already short, so I ask to go short, she proceeds to cut the sides only (both sides cut uneven) and doesn’t touch the top and all, after sitting there for 5 min, she ask me if I’m done and starts taking off the blanket before I could even answer. You could tell she didn’t care about me or her job at all. Never going there again. If I could have gave 0 stars, I would have.

Critical: QualityJudged very harshly on the style of haircut. I understand if certain haircuts won’t match/fit certain face shapes, but I kept being told “why do you want this haircut? You look like a guy, are you sure? Are you sure? Why do you want this?” My own mother has done a better job at giving me the haircut I want than the professional. It’s very simple, I’ve had the style before, and it looks just fine on me. I gave her several images of what I wanted, and she cut my hair far too short. It didn’t match the picture at all. The lady did not dampen my hair whatsoever, and I’m no pro, but from every other hair salons I’ve been to, they’ve wet my hair before cutting it. I’ve heard it’s to make cutting easier. When cutting my hair, she left a lot of hair on my neck and face, and barely blew it off with a hairdryer. After the appointment, I bought a beanie to hide my hair and found bits of cut hair throughout the day on my face, in my shirt, on my neck, etc. it’s normal to find bits of hair still remaining sure, but it was much more than what I usually got after a haircut. Had some difficulty with getting the labeled price on a product that was mislabeled. Had to show that all bottles of that product had the same mislabeled price. Lady in charge even gave her own employee a difficult time. Eventually, she relented.

During my last visit, I was very appreciative of what Joanne did. I came in at 6pm and she was servicing other customers. When I approached the front desk, she saw me, acknowledge and said hi. A moment later the front desk person assisted me. I asked if I could get a haircut with Joanne, but she said that Joanne is busy and will be leaving at 7pm and asked if I could get a haircut with others. I was bummed. I guess Joanne saw my expression or overheard because she chimed in and said that she’ll help me and asked to leave a number. I did and I got a call at around 7pm and was serviced by Joanne. She apologized for the wait and thanked me, but I was also thankful that she took me in even though her shift was over. My haircut was great and no complain about it. Joanne is also a fun person to talk to while getting your hair done or cut. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks Joanne!

I had my hair bleached and dyed for the first time here. They didn’t have the color I wanted (rose gold) but they offered me alternatives that would be a lot healthier for my hair and easier to maintain. We decided on mixing 2 types of purple, and I’m really happy about it!!! My hair feels super soft, light, still relatively healthy, AND SUPER PRETTY!! I’ve gotten so many compliments about my hair ♡♡ (I never got the name of the person who did my hair but it was a guy. he was really nice and easy to talk to, and would answer all of my questions) Anyways yeah I love my new hair and I feel super confident in it ❤❤

I got an excellent haircut. Only problem was that when I checked in, I was told the stylist I would have seen didn’t come in. I was told they tried to call me to inform me but didn’t have my number which is odd because I got a call yesterday reminding me of my appointment. Hmm. I was told if I waited for 30 minutes, I could see someone else. Lance was my stylist. He listened to what I wanted and I got a great cut!
