My hairstylist moved to another state last year and I’ve been struggling with touching my roots myself. I decided to start looking for someone that I can go to for my touch ups once a month at least. I called this location of fantastic Sam as it’s close to where I live. I made an app and I asked the lady how much they charge, and she said 55$. So I went there and my stylist, Mona, was trying to convince me to have my keratin treatment done by her and then she mentioned my highlights have ash color that needs to be treated. So she was trying to sell me services several times. I actually agreed to let her do keratin soon. I went to pay and the lady at the front desk said 75$. She said that Mona asked her to charge me this much because of my wide roots. My roots were maximum half an inch. I posted photos on Yelp and you can judge yourself. I actually said ok because i never argue with payments and I was planning to leave her a 20$ tip on top of the 55$ anyway. Touching my roots took her exactly 10 to maximum15 and during application she was chatting with coworkers. I went home and as my hair dried up, I wanted to see how the touch up looked because when I left the salon my hair was wet and I couldn’t tell. I was shocked to say the least. The color wasn’t the same as I mentioned to her I use #7 in light brown. Orange to yellow scalp and roots is what I saw. Some white roots looked very transparent in some areas and in other areas they were not even touched. I would have done a much better job even on my worst days. I posted photos on Yelp of the terrible job she did. Please Check photos for yourself. I could only take photos of the front. I don’t want to even check the back.I will never go there. I don’t recommend it. I’m so disappointed at my waisted time and waisted money in my first and last experience there!

Mona is the BEST Stylist at Fantastic Sams, I get my hair colored & trimmed here often & always ask for Mona because she always listens and does exactly what I want done to my hair Shes so kind, professional, respectful & charges prices that are so affordable. Never trust the bad review of ppl who constantly lie & complain in every review they make [Like the Karen below this]. I just want to say thank you to Michelle S., never in my life have I been so happy with how someone cut my hair and not only that but throughout the haircut she would check in with me to make sure she was cutting my hair exactly how I wanted . If you visit this location ask for Michelle. Five stars and I will be going back.

Mona Is my hairstylist and color professional. When I first came to Mona my hair was jet black with a lots of gray at the roots. With a couple sessions with Mona my hairstyle and my color is amazing and now I have brown and golden blonde highlights, Not only has the color and cut made my face look lighter and younger. My hair feels very healthy and I just love it. My husband loves it my family and friends love the difference. Every Hairstylist professional in fantastic Sams are very nice and a wonderful happy place to hang out there in the business of making you look beautiful. And you will.

Did a great job with my wife’s hair with a pretty good price. She got a hair cut, shampoo and blow dry style for $45, which is not too bad. My wife liked the hair cut and style as well. Seems to have done a better job than super cut.
