Fantastic Sams Cut & Color

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI have used this salon about half a dozen times in the past 4 years. They have gone through a lot of stylists in that time. The service you get is very much dependent on the individual stylist. Some are awesome and others… not so awesome. It’s hit or miss. Natasha is currently my favorite person there and probably in all of Flagstaff! She is very kind and professional. She didn’t make me feel bad about cutting my own hair or using box color kits. I have used this salon about half a dozen times in the past 4 years. They have gone through a lot of stylists in that time. The service you get is very much dependent on the individual stylist. Some are awesome and others… not so awesome. It’s hit or miss. Natasha is currently my favorite person there and probably in all of Flagstaff! She is very kind and professional. She didn’t make me feel bad about cutting my own hair or using box color kits. Critical: QualityI’ve been coming here for a few years and I’ve never had any problems with any of the haircuts or the people until recently. I came in for a standard haircut and what I got was the worst haircut I have ever received. Because of this I will never be coming back to this salon. My hair was pulled and my scalp was hurting after the hair cut. I went to a different place the next day to get a better haircut and she showed me the 3 inch difference on the back of my hair. I had to get an extra 2 inches off all the way around for it to look alright. I will not ever be coming back to this place. I am not one to complain and I feel terrible leaving this review but it is well deserved. I’ve been coming here for a few years and I’ve never had any problems with any of the haircuts or the people until recently. I came in for a standard haircut and what I got was the worst haircut I have ever received. Because of this I will never be coming back to this salon. Critical: ProfessionalismI had an appointment at 1:30 didn’t start tell I:45 then took the lady 30 minutes to wash my hair I asked for her to cut 1 inch of and thin my hair out my hair was a little above my waist and she cut it down to my shoulders and gave me layers which she didn’t even blend then she just kept cutting shorter and shorter and the hair in the front and top is all the way by my chin she didn’t listen and cut off WAY more than 1 inch she didn’t even ask me if I were I wanted it to be she just cut it. Idk if he was tired or drunk, but I’ve never had an experience this bad. It was the young native American man with blonde and brown hair. He almost ripped my eyebrow piercing out half a dozen time, cut the skin at the top of my ear, and shaved half my beard off one half of my face. I didn’t even have him fix it I just came home and did it myself. I’ve never had a bad experience at this location before, but if this guy is there I dont think I’m coming back, and certainly never letting him near my head again.
