I went to Fantastic Sam’s to get my hair washed and styled/blown dry. Becky was the stylist who worked on my hair and she did an awesome job! She washed my hair & when she was styling it, she said “I think you need a pick-me-up!” I told her I thought she was right, and to go for it.

So over the past few months my hair has been thinning and went from healthy and shiny to super dry, brittle and covered in split ends. It’s really messed with my self esteem and I couldn’t get it back to healthy no matter how many trims I got or products I used. Well I finally decided to to cut all the dead off, not just a trim this time. I walked into the salon embarassed of my hair, nervous and honestly a little scared I was making the wrong decision. But the women who cut my hair instantly made me feel at ease. I told her about my issues and ended up finding out it’s a side effect of COVID! I had Covid back in Feb and would have never guessed that it could be the cause. She assured me we would get my hair looking good and gave me a lot of tips on how to speed up the growth. I initially wanted to cut just a few inches below my shoulder line but she encouraged me to cut above my shoulders to get rid of all the dead. I was realllly nervous but she made me feel comfortable the whole time. Let me tell you, I walked out of that salon feeling so confident and like a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders. She not only gave me my confidence back, but she showed me there IS light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you so much Becky, it may have just been a regular hair cut for you but your kindness was something I’ll never forget. I will definitely be coming back to FS to get my cuts from her for now on.

I have come here for years but today is the last day. I drive 30 minutes from basically Gold Canyon cause all of ours out that way are garbage. Drive up for my 5pm cut and was told they tried to call me. No calls. Then I ask the lady who clearly isn’t cutting hair if she can cut it quickly. Nope she says but there’s an appointment for 7pm. Well after telling her how far away I live I’m surprised she even offered but no I won’t drive back or worse find something to do for 2 hours while you screw around. NEVER COMING BACK. Let me start by saying Amanda is AMAZING!! I am a first time client and she is absolutely talented at her craft. I will not take my son to this place again. I call and asked if they do fade and they said yes I. Explain to them that my son needs a trim and a fade and line up. They said no problem we can do that so I set the appointment got there they set my son with an older lady that clearly did know what she was doing sorry to say but she has no business if cutting nor lining any bodies hair she kept pressing the blade against my sons hair what I witness was horrible she had totally butchered my child hair and now my son looks like this I got pictures don’t know how to load them
