There were only 2 stylists working but I still felt hurried. She even told me she only had one more appointment left that day and had an hour or so before she was going to arrive. She did a really good job with my hair, but my hair style is simple… I just wanted the bottom of my long hair trimmed straight across. I know it’s not quite that easy, but not too difficult. My mom also got her hair cut and styled. She left with her hair crunchy from the amount of hairspray in it. Who uses that much hair spray? It actually looks better since the hairspray has been shampooed off.

Went just before three on Wednesday and the doors were locked. There wasn’t anything on the door saying they closed early. The hours on the door say they are open until and do not say anything about them being closed or any other type of explanation.

I needed a change and it was a last minute appointment. They got me in and were able to do what I wanted. I had a cut and partial highlight. It turned out great thanks I will be back!! It’s hard to see but there’s red in my hair. And I love it.

When I came for my appointment they said they had gotten busy and that I had to wait. I waited for about 20 minutes and walked out. Not only was it disappointing to make an appointment and for the staff not to honor it, but it smelled strongly of burning hair. I didn’t want them touching my hair.

Not all that happy with the lack of sanitizing their scissors and workstation before having me come and sit in front of the mirror. She insisted this was standard practice when I asked her to use different scissors. Their was wet hair all over the scissors and the chair I was now sitting in not too mention the floor which was now slippery. Probably not a big deal to most but I am high risk for infection and do take this seriously. I don’t know the health and well being of the young child that was their before me or what they may or may not carry home from school. One could say my request was unreasonable but I should have been taken seriously and not told we only sanitize combs or other items that touches the skin. I have had my ear jabbed more than once in my years of getting haircuts and would hope that someone sterilized their scissors before going on to the next person. I’m not even sure what to make of this since the person cutting my hair was clearly offended by my request to the point of not saying a word to me until asking me if it was short enough. Then, I obligated to tip her even though the customer service wasn’t their because I could feel her countenance of being offended. If you can’t sterilize something as simple as scissors how do we know if you sterilize other equipment. How do i know if the comb she pulled out of her drawer was sterilized. Whatever happened to a jar of solution in the workstation with visible combs so their is no question of cleanliness. Just saying. More importantly I can get an $18.00 dollar haircut anywhere and would have been treated better.
