Critical: ProfessionalismAfter a bad experience a 1 or so ago, I decided to try again today. Took my daughter in for a cut and was treated like dirt. The person cutting her hair was rude and was talking about us in front of us to other customers. On top of that the cut was horrible and now we have to go to another salon to fix it. Don’t waste your money or time. The snide woman acts like people are beneath her… shame people have to act like this, and people wonder why so many businesses are closing. After a bad experience a 1 or so ago, I decided to try again today. Took my daughter in for a cut and was treated like dirt. The person cutting her hair was rude and was talking about us in front of us to other customers. On top of that the cut was horrible and now we have to go to another salon to fix it. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI’ve been meaning to write a review on Joyce for awhile and keep forgetting, but I adore Joyce! I’ve gotten my hair cut by her a few times now and she’s so sweet and always does a really great job with my haircut. I’m a cosmetology student and she lets me watch her cut my step mom’s hair and gives me advice and makes sure I understand what she’s doing/why she’s doing it, which I really appreciate as well. She definitely doesn’t need to be teaching me but whatever she does teach me I’ve always been very grateful for! I’ve been meaning to write a review on Joyce for awhile and keep forgetting, but I adore Joyce! I’ve gotten my hair cut by her a few times now and she’s so sweet and always does a really great job with my haircut. I’m a cosmetology student and she lets me watch her cut my step mom’s hair and gives me advice and makes sure I understand what she’s doing/why she’s doing it, which I really appreciate as well. I seemed to have to direct her to check am that every side was even. Older guy at desk was SUPER friendly but the stylist needs lessons on how to interact positively with her clients. Critical: QualityWhen a client says, I still need to put my hair up for work and at the end of the cut, the stylist says she cut off a lot of hair and then points out how much of my hair is on the ground. I get the impression she had no idea what I wanted.
