I went Fantastic Sams not knowing what to expect as I needed a quick haircut. I was pleasantly surprised with Emma. She gave me an amazing cut and recommended deep conditioning treatment. I have naturally curly and dry hair and the treatment was exactly what my hair needed. My curls are shinning, healthy and bouncy. I will definitely come back as a regular now. China did a great job on my hair. She is very sweet, detailed and easy to talk to. China carefully listened to exactly what I wanted, explained the process and went over pricing before starting the service. I really appreciated that. I also had my 6 month old with me who was overly tired and often times crying throughout the salon. Another generous stylist (blonde, did not get her name) offered to hold my daughter to calm her down while China finished cutting my hair. I was just blown away by how kind everyone was. Excellent service all around. I will be back. Thank you!

Friday morning, I called this location at 11am to schedule appointment for quick hair cut. The lady who answered said come at 1:45pm. I showed up EXACTLY @1:49 because it’s hard to find the location. They said they has to reschedule because i was late 9 minutes. Both ladies were rude and not listening. It’s their fault not mine. How am I late 9 mins when my appointment was 1:45pm. I will never try to cut my hair at fantanstic sams

Critical: Professionalism, QualityMy fiance has been growing her hair out for a long time as she is preparing for her hairstyle for our wedding. She didn’t think she could get it to the length she did, but was more then satisfied with how much it grew. A day before our engagement photos she could only find FS Edina with available appointments (now we understand why). She asked just for a small trim to clean up split ends. She instantly started worrying with how it was being cut, but thought the hair stylist would blend everything together. Very shortly, the damage was done. A slight trim had turned into inches and chunks taken out. She actually asked the hair stylist to please stop because she was afraid of how much more hair was going to be taken off. She was mortified, and literally cried off and on for 2 days. Her only option now are extensions. The best the manager could do was not charge her for the haircut and nothing more because she didn’t let her finish and they “stand by their work”. I’m sorry, but how much hair was she suppose to let get chopped off? There was no fixing this disaster. Thinking refunding her money is enough, is the worst business model I’ve seen. Imagine going to a resort and they told you “sorry we gave up your room, but guess what, we wont charge you.” That doesn’t cut it. You, as a company, make up for the inconvenience as best you can to invest in a future regular customer. All she asked for in return was to cover the cost of hair extensions. It has nothing to do about money, it’s the principle. She literally said, “All can be forgiven if you make up for what you cost me, and my review would change from a negative to a positive”. People make mistakes, but handling this should not have been screwed up. The manager with a lot of attitude could not have cared less. If you’re reading this, please understand they couldn’t even take a fraction of an inch off without messing it up completely (See picture). She didn’t think she could get it to the length she did, but was more then satisfied with how much it grew. Terrible experience – honestly am not even sure what the name of my hair stylist was because she never introduced herself. She currently has light purple hair. I DO not recommend her.

Just got the worst men’s cut I’ve had. Didn’t follow the flow of hair at all and missed quite a few hairs. Including right in the front. Do not recommend. Haircut

I had a 3pm appt and my stylist never showed up! After 25 mins of waiting I finally got in with someone else. The place is clean and in a good location but I probably won’t be back due to the lack of courtesy for my scheduled appointment edited: I want to update my review for this salon! Although it didn’t start of well at all I am happy that I had the stylist I ended with! I believe her name was Ariana? She was great and really connected well with me and told me she had done extra training to learn curly hair textures and wanted to make me feel comfortable the whole time! We laughed and had great conversation the entire time! My highlights turned out great! I WILL Be back to see her again!

Should have trusted my gut and walked out when the stylist wasn’t able to make a straight line or find the center of the head for the undercut. She buzzed it and asked if it was ok and I audibly said “oh my god I guess I’ll have to fix it at home” Then she kept going and left us with MANY different lengths of hair in the undercut.She proceeded to give the kiddo a dry trim around the rest of the head leaving it completely uneven then charge us for a full mens cut. I have no idea what the heck was going on so we paid and left extremely disappointed.Came in for a kids trim with an undercut.
