Took my 11 yr old daughter here as a walk in for a hair cut. Ended up with Jake R and loved every minute of the process. He took the time to explain to her what he was doing and listened to what she wanted. After we left, she couldn’t stop touching and talking about her hair. She LOVED it! I then booked an appointment with him too for the next day and got the same amazing treatment. Will be going back for sure!

Without even blow drying my hair first…both the stylist and I instantly noticed the color at the roots did not stay. She said I could come back in a week and they would try to adjust? Tried to book upon leaving, which they couldn’t do within a reasonable amount of time so I said I would call and it just became more of an issue. So we all acknowledge my hair didn’t turn out but yet I paid 190 and have no appt set up to return for them to fix. Kinda BS if you ask me.

I had the worst experience with a stylist. She didn’t listen to me, put a red toner in my hair, which was NEVER asked for and my hair came out at least two shades darker than I had requested. All I wanted her to do was match what I had at the bottom (light brown) to cover my roots that had grown out. I even allowed her to leave my conditioning treatment in way longer so she could fit in another customer who had been waiting for a long time- was trying to be helpful. After drying, she challenged how I saw my hair and took me outside in the light to attempt to have me see that it was lighter than it actually was. No. It was very very dark with red all over. I was clearly unhappy and she changed her attitude and body language, which caused me discomfort and made me shut down. She told me to keep it as it is for a few days and if I dislike it, contact her in a week. I was one day late on calling to speak with a manager because I did not want any conflicts with the stylist. Essentially, I was given the runaround, told someone would return my call and that never happened. When I called to follow up, I was cold transferred to my stylist who would not let me speak to anyone. Because I was a single day late, she told me I’d have to redo everything and pay full price. I was willing to have highlights put in to lighten it up and pay the product cost, but she was unwilling to work with me in any way. I’ve worked in customer service all of my life and have never spoken to a customer with such a snotty and rude tone that she used with me before. Add into the fact that she layered on extra dye at the end only on the top when I had my hair colored. After a few showers, you can clearly see a line where it’s uneven, which my loved ones have pointed out. I will not be going back there. Katie was my stylist.

Kelly gave me the worst haircut and dye job I’ve ever had. It’s been months since she cut my hair and I’m still stuck with it being weirdly short and patchy (different thickness in various spots due to uneven cutting). I am relieved Sarah was able to fix it as best she could, but, like I said, it’s been months and it’s still upsetting to me to look at in the mirror. I appreciate Sarah, which is why this place gets any stars at all, but I could never recommend Kelly to anyone!!!

I’ve come to this location the better part of 4 years. I would always see Valerie. Over time I noticed that her work has been subpar. I would have to come back or go elsewhere to fix mistakes she would do. Her work declined as if she was just in a rush. She actually asked me if I was going to talk about her bc “she hears lots of things”. Inappropriate and unprofessional. Who speaks to a client who has always tipped her quite well like that? I paid a lot of money, not to be sent out with yellow hair and an uneven cut. So, yes when you do poor work, yes, I will say something. The other stylists are really nice and so is the receptionist. But, I mean grow up. If you decide to come here, ask for anyone but her.
