Fantastic Sams Cut & Color

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI visited the 3833 Lexington Ave N #107, Arden Hills, MN 55126 location on October 4. The stylist named Yolanda was doing my hair. She discussed with me what I was looking for in detail and seemed like she understood. She then made paperwork’s and told me it was going to be $141 for haircut and full foil. I signed the papers and she started working. After she had already shampooed my hair, she came back with the papers and asked me to sign on a new bill that was $178 and she said it’s because she forgot to add something. It’s such an old and unethical tactic to get more money, especially after she was bragging to me the entire time that she’s been in the industry for 40 years. Anyway, I signed the new papers because I didn’t want to create a fuss. Afterwards, while shampooing my hair, she spilled water all over me and my phone and when I moved because it was startling, she yelled at me to stop moving. After she was done with the foils and cut, my hair looked horrible! I had asked for a few inches off, but she chopped off 7-8 inches, and the highlights were bulky on top of my head and barely anything on the sides. It looked awful. She asked me if I liked it, and then proceeded to get defensive and yelled at me again when I said I think it looks weird to have a bulky colored spot on top of my head when it’s supposed to be evenly spread out. She was very intimidated and I am not a fan of confrontation so I silently paid and left. This was my first time visiting Fantastic Sam’s and after paying close to $200, I’m stuck with terrible hair and bitterness. I visited the 3833 Lexington Ave N #107, Arden Hills, MN 55126 location on October 4. The stylist named Yolanda was doing my hair. I get my hair highlighted and cut by Caitlin. Best customer service and so enjoyable to talk to.
