I’m more then happy with my hair. Today I went in with a nice lady named Mirahya who left my hair looking amazing! I had a terrible haircut done at another location and my awesome stylist left my hair looking amazing. I had no hope for my hair after it was terribly done. Not only did she fix my disaster of hair. My roommate didn’t want to go through the trouble of posting on here but I felt so bad for him that I wanted to warn others. My (male) roommate went here to get a couple of inches taken off his hair and get it styled into a fade. He asked for specific measurements like using a number 2 for instance on his hair. He told this to the hair stylist and she went “I totally got you!” She didn’t fade his hair but literally buzzed his whole head. He’s very polite and doesn’t like to start up drama, but when she looked at him with a huge smile on her face as if she did an amazing job the only thing he could do was give a slight smile and now doesn’t even want to leave the house without a hat on. He tipped her and paid the bill which was about $30.00. All in all, if you are looking to get a good haircut, avoid this place like the plague or expect to wear a hat for a couple of weeks.

Critical: QualityI asked for a tapered fade, obviously the lady does not know what that means because the entire sides of my hair are uniform length. The top of my head was left a bit longer but for some reason only the front half of the top of my head??? And when I specified the lengths that I wanted in inches my hair stylist needed me to tell her in the guard number she used because she didnt know the conversion??? Overall not very impressed and I was charge 23 dollars for something I could have gotten at great clips for 9 dollars. Maybe this salon is okay for short hair, but it’s definitely NOT a go for long hair trims. Had to go to Great Clips the next day for a fix. Never going back to Fantastic Sams. I told them I was getting married the next weekend, and I was telling the truth. Very young inexperienced stylists who were too confused to just admit they didn’t have the skill to cut my hair. I wanted a little curve in the back, and the tip of it was not even cut in the center of my head! She didn’t care about my part being in the right place and argued with me about it. I wanted out of there I was so uncomfortable. Got home and saw how uneven everything was! How could I tell when my hair is dark against a black cape? When it came time for a receipt, their machine conveniently wasn’t working. It was all around awful!

I went here for just a cut on 6/4/18 in the early evening and was told that there was about a 45 minute wait. I said that it was fine and came back to the salon after about 30 minutes. I waited for at least another 30 minutes in the salon. I get it though, it can be busy and a person can only cut hair so fast! What wasn’t ok was how unprofessional the stylists were. As I was sitting there, waiting for my cut, the two stylists working were talking back and forth complaining to each other about how Sunday/Monday is a busy time. “I don’t understand why EVERYONE waits for Monday to get a haircut” ….I’m sorry? Sounds like maybe you should bring it up as a staffing issue if it’s that difficult for you? They would also complain about the person they were talking to on the phone after hanging up.

I had a bad experience here recently. The person cutting my hair was obviously in a bad mood when I arrived. They effectively trimmed the ends of my hair and cut less then half an inch of hair off of everything when I asked for two. Before the cut ended I hinted that I thought it was pretty long still and asked if we could take more off and they got very snippy with me. I just stayed polite and paid and left at that point because I didn’t trust that person to fix it. The other staff seemed nice and seemed to treat other customers well, but I personally had a bad experience and will not go back because of them.

Generally in the past I’ve always had some mistakes or missed spots. At this location I’m going on six and no mistakes. I have curly hair so it can be a challenge. Very good stylists and I’m happy to keep going back when needed.
