Wow I cannot speak highly enough of Sandy!!!! I have had so many different hair stylists in my life (ranging from SUPER expensive to affordable) and she by far did the best job!!! I have very thick and damaged hair and needed a chop but also wanted layers and face framing and she far exceeded my expectations!!! I have gotten so many compliments and it hasnt even been 24 hours. I just wanted to come here to rave about Sandy. I have curly hair which has led me to some incredibly bad haircuts throughout the years. A few months ago I completely destroyed my hair by dying it myself. I thought my hair was done for. I called Fantastic Sams and Sandy answered, I described the situation and she had a place for me the same day. My 20th birthday is in less than a week so I just wanted to look and feel good about myself. She did a conditioning and reviving treatment which made my hair the softest it’s felt in years. Then she trimmed 2-3 inches off. It looks absolutely amazing. I have never had such a wonderful haircut, she went above and beyond, framing my face, shaping my hair to suit me and the whole time she was talking to me making me feel like family. I was blown away by my experience.

I like it here with the exception of one worker. I was a walk in and needed a trim. I was happy to wait, and didn’t have a specific stylist I wanted. The girl who started doing my hair complained to the entire store the whole time about how she should’ve been gone by now, and how she just wanted to go home. She was extremely rough and kept poking my eyes and pulling my hair. She was literally taking her frustrations out on me! I said something to her after 20 minutes of her poking my eyes and stretching my curly hair! She didn’t even acknowledge me. I tipped her ok because I am a nice person. But next time I see her I will wait for another person or come back a different day. I don’t want to throw anyone under the bus, but I’m sure if you work with her you know who it is MIND YOU THIS WAS A WHILE AGO, AND I AM ONLY NOW GETTING AROUND TO THIS REVIEW I just booked an appointment online, as this location does have good employees, and it is clean.

Very disappointed in fantastic Sam’s, I had made my appointment online and when I got there and first checked in I was told that my stylist was running a little behind but I could have a seat… OK then after sitting only about 3-5 minutes the stylist turned and said to me “are you Tabitha?” I replied yes, she then said “OK so last night when you were making your appointment I was making an appointment here in the store in person and so the slot that you had filled in for your appointment is no was no longer available and I need to reschedule with you” I just got up and walked out because never have I had that experience at a fantastic Sam’s and was highly disappointed… not sure I will ever visit that store again.
