Fantastic service at Fantastic Sam’s! My daughter hates getting her hair cut or even trimmed, but she absolutely loved having Bittina trim up her hair. She also really paid attention to my daughter’s curls and it looks amazing!

This is place is super unprofessional! I called a couple days in advance and the lady on the phone told me to come in today at 9 AM! Well I got here 10 mins before my appointment and it’s now 9:31 am and me and a lady are still waiting here for someone to show up, I called the store and tried to get a hold of someone. No answer. I have no idea if they cut good, was hoping to get my hair done today. I legit drove 35 mins out from where I live in my small town excited to get a new haircut but I guess not lol

I would highly recommend Fantastic Sam’s. The atmosphere is cheerful and inviting. Everyone is very nice and the hair stylists all want to make sure they are giving you exactly what you’ve asked for. I was disappointed. I moved to Owatonna several months ago and my regular hairstylist with a different salon is out due to sugery. My left wrist is broken and I have a hard time washing my hair. So I made an appt here for wash and blow dry. I did not like my wash. Why the stylist would Only wash the top and sides of my head and not wash the back of my head (the whole head)I have no idea! Same with the conditioner. Only sides and top of head. I definitely will Not be back. To mess up something so simple to do is sadding. 🙁

The staff is very kind and friendly. BUT, I have taken photos in twice and the cut didn’t look any thing like I asked for. This last time I look like a Dutch boy! Just cut straight on the sides, no layering at all. I was very disappointed. I realize my hair is thin on the sides but, if the stylist couldn’t do what I wanted, she should have said so!

My other son she cut his cowlick so it stands straight up instead of laying down. This isnt hard. If you can’t cut children’s hair don’t say you can. I could have done a better job and saved myself the money.

I went to get my hair and eyebrows waxed after a year of not having it done. The reason for the haircut was it was getting to be a tangled mess and to long. I told the stylist what i was getting the same style i always get. She did my eyebrows first which i was pleased with washed my hair. Started to get the haircut told her I wanted it to my shoulders well she started to cut my hair didn’t even get all the dead ends from my hair in other areas basically she just trimmed the back and my bangs started drying my hair didn’t even finish drying my hair so she could fit a walk in customer in i was in the hair salon no more than 20 minutes I could of done this haircut myself at home and saved me the money. I always had a good experience there in the past and my hair always looked great. This time i feel it was rushed and I didn’t get the haircut i paid for.
