PLEASE DO NOT LET KEENA COLOR OR CUT YOUR HAIR!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! $126 for nothing!! I have medium blonde hair & shoulder length. I showed her a picture of a cute cut that is a lighter blonde and told her that is what I want. She tried talking me into going platinum. I told her that is not what I showed her or wanted. After 4 1/2 hours between chair & sink she stripped all the color out of my hair and it turned orange and gave me a man’s military haircut. I went off and she tried to tell the manager I wasn’t sure of what I wanted. Thank God the manager Brandee believe me and had me to come back the next day to fix the color but it was to far gone & the cut is too short to fix so having to wear a hat for many weeks until it grows out

I called beforehand to make sure they could fit my fiance in for a straight razor cut and me in for a scalp treatment and to fix a DIY haircut. They said yes and gave me a timeslot. It went downhill from there. 1st, they didn’t schedule my fiance at all. 2nd, Chong was not my favorite stylist. First she asked me repeatedly why my hair was like it was, after I said it was a DIY haircut gone wrong. Then she washed my hair and put me under the dryer, which I did NOT ask for. During this time, she fit my fiance in, but he asked for his long hair to be cut so that he only had an inch left. He wanted a summer cut. Well, Chong only cut an inch off. Then she rewashed my hair. I’m assuming this is the step where she did my scalp treatment, but I can’t be sure because before scalp treatments had to sit, this she did not let sit. 3rd, Chong then shaped my haircut. She mentioned I had dandruff. She said that I needed a dandruff shampoo bad. (In my head, this is why I’m here. This is what the scalp treatment is for. You’re not teaching me anything new.) Then after our haircuts that NEITHER of us are happy with, it’s time to check out. 4th Chong tells another stylist that had NOTHING to do with my appointment about my dandruff problem, loud enough for me to hear while I’m paying $55 for 2 appointments. If I can hear I’m sure the others sitting and waiting their turn can hear too. Very unprofessional. I will go back to the salon because I’ve had way more positive experiences than negative, but I will NOT go back to Chong. My fiance says she was just brash because that’s the way people of her ethnicity usually are. Maybe but that’s not an excuse to be unprofessional OR to give clients things they DON’T ask for.
