BEWARE!!!! I would give 0 stars if I could. I know every stylist is different but I believe we had one named Jennifer. Trust me when I say it was the absolute worst experience and a complete butcher job. I’ll add pics if I can. Went in and stylist was rude. I asked for a wash and cut but she didn’t wash my hair. Showed her a pic of what I wanted and she just went in and chopped off the bottom. She used scissors like a kindergartener. I left early and didn’t have her finish. It was so awful I was crying. Went to Sally beauty snd bought scissors and had my sister fix it and she (without any training) managed to do a waaaay better job. Seriously never had such a bad experience. And for $30?!?!

I went to Fantastic Sams because my hair was chemical damage from a relaxer left to long on my hair at a professional salon. My hair was falling out in clumps. By the way I am black if that matters. I went into Fantastic Sams nervous. The ladies were so kind and professional. Jennifer was my stylist. She ask me a lot of questions about my hair, what all was done, how long ago my hair was bleach and relax, etc… Jennifer examine my hair and made me happy when she informed me she can salvaged my hair. That I didn’t have to cut my hair extremely short. Jennifer got rid of my damage hair and cut my hair into a cute bob. She also cover the areas where I had patches of hair missing.

I am extremely skeptical of places like the chain salons normally. I had the same stylist for over ten years prior to moving here. I needed a cut quickly and took a chance. Amanda did an excellent job. My hair is thick, curly and unruly. The process usually is lengthy and involves straightening to cut properly. She cut from wet and curly and it somehow laid perfectly naturally or straight. Pretty impressed, she was cool and she was great with my daughter too.

I only use Fantastic Sams for my sons (10 & 6 yo) and they have never disappointed us. Our last visit a couple of weeks ago was phenomenal!
