As I came in for a Shampoo & Brush Blow dry, I was not satisfied leaving as I still had residue throughout my hair as it was not washed thoroughly. After Rebecca completed the service as she thought was done, I proceeded to say something about my hair still feeling as if it had a residue and Rebecca (the Manager who was servicing me) then said “I’m sorry my shampoo couldn’t get it all out” which is unacceptable. She then over charged me by $11 as my service on their board said $24 initially but instead charging me $35 as she said she had to “section brush blow dry my hair”. In the end, my hair is half shampooed because my hair still has a residue and a brush blow dry which she had to “section” because my hair is really thick meaning you can’t just go through with one strike. I’d highly not recommend! Photos are attached for proof.

The reason I didn’t use this business this past Monday was I made an appointment in person told them what I wanted and then when I got there at my designated appointment there was no color to do my hair with. The place is not stocked like it should be. I’m trying again today. I do love my beautician Bonnie. She does a great job. The only reason I’m going back.

Genesis came highly recommended by a family member and she not only fixed my botched hair job, but got the color just right. Got my hair done for my wedding here. The lady did a very nice job and she was very knowledgeable but they don’t really do wedding styles there. Would recommend the place for a good hair cut or trim and maybe a simple style job but their skills are not much beyond that in my experience.

I asked for my hair to be styled with waves and instead of waves I came out with Goldy Lock’s curly hair, note that I got a shoulder lenght haircut so with those curls my hair raised up to my ears, ridiculous. For her to do hair for a living you would imagine she would know the difference between waves and curls. I told her I wanted waves and that was too curly she said it was about to rain outside anyways so they should calm down, like what?! On top of everything once I got home and straightened my hair I noticed some hair strands were longer than the others. I do not recommend this place.
