I have only had my hair cut professionally twice in last 12 years. Both times I went to Fantastic Sam’s on Pensacola Blvd. They are friendly and helpful and gentle with hair. Pricing rates them four stars- they keep charging more & more for shampoo & blow dry. I’ve always had a good experience at Fantastic Sams. Jessica & Swanette at the Blue Angel location are awesome! They do great work, are friendly, and very efficient. I gave them 4 stars because of pricing. You would think that they would be less expensive then a regular salon, but they are not. I was going consistently for two years and they just kept raising the prices for my same service.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityLady has cut my hair before about a year and a half ago she did awful told me no to what I wanted said it was impossible with my length of hair. Whatever decided to give her another chance today as the other lady was busy. For starters she RUSHES to cut my hair and when she was thinning it she didn’t brush it out instead she thinned a bunch of sections then washed my hair when washing my hair she scratched the heck out of my head with her nails my head is so sore and raw now about 6 hours later I can still feel it. I get back in the chair after the wash and my hair is in two impossible knots! She starts combing and doesn’t do anything to stop it from ripping my hair out so I asked her if she wanted me to try to brush it so I did and it barely budged. That’s when another lady came out from eating her lunch she was so kind and patient she talked to me she was so gentle and she KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING!!! She realized the lady was just hurting me and offered to move me to her chair. I moved and she patiently sat there and brushed out the mess the other one had created! She washed my hair again and I then asked her if my hair style would be possible to do and she said absolutely! And cut it how I wanted it!! Two times the First Lady has messed up on my hair!!!! I’ve been going here for years. Vicki is always very friendly and accommodating. She does an amazing job every time. I started taking my daughter here years ago also and she always ask for Vicki, still today. My granddaughter turned 3 in February and Vicki did her first haircut. I’ve always had very good experiences with Vicki and been welcomed by friendly faces every visit.

We’ve been going to this FS for years now. The salon is always clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. Vicki has been cutting my hair for a year or so now, and she always cuts it absolutely perfect. I also take both of my sons to get their haircuts here and they are always happy with the end result, as am I!

I love this place! Vicki is the best and all the stylists are nice. I have been coming here for several years and I would never go anywhere else. I told my bestie about Vicki and now she comes here regularly as well. She hated getting her hair cut before meeting Vicki and now she loves getting it colored, cut, and styled regularly.
