I loved my stylist and I will go back for haircuts, but never again for color! I had beautiful beige highlights from another salon that took zero effort. Using Redken smooth lock shampoo (not color protecting or purple shampoo, just my normal shampoo) the color remained correct from the time I got them in May until the time I went to Famous Sam’s in September.

Do not go to This place NATILIE is a very rude person. With no subject of knowing how to do business. She processed my child’s hair and messed it up royally 7 days before a wedding. They refused to give refund, refused to fix or correct hair or even give credit. Managers exact words, “WE ARE DOING NOTHING” I have gone to Fanastic sams my whole life and this location needs a new manager and better training.

They don’t answer the phone even when someone is in the salon. I saw someone inside. It’s difficult to get service if no one answers the telephone. I called. No answer. Showed up and called from outside. No answer. Walked in and she said she’d be booked for a few days. Gave me the same number to call. Called several times…still no answer.

I went this morning for a cut and color with only a couple weeks to go before having a baby. Everyone there was very nice. My stylist was Kirsten and she is amazing! The best/worst part was that because I was pregnant (changing hormones), she did a test strip to see how my hair would react, and it didn’t… So instead of just starting out doing what I asked for and then charging me anyway when it didn’t work (like other places I’ve tried would’ve done), she went above and beyond to make sure she was providing honest and quality work. I still got a great hair cut and I’ll be back soon to get the highlights!
