The ladies there are always super nice and friendly. They’re very gentle with your hair and don’t tug or comb too harshly. The only downside and why they didn’t get 5 stars is it’s a little pricey. $22 bucks for a trim, and I don’t mean a hair cut that feels like a trim, I’m talking she snipped in 5 places total and it took maybe 15 minutes top. That seems a little excessive but still better than some salons so I’ll give it to them.

I saw Caitlyn (spelling) I had a bit of a wait, but she was the only one there, but O M G! The wait was so worth it! She made me feel SO welcomed and so at home. She listened, paid attention, and delivered what I was expecting. Very long story short, my hair is/was falling out and she made me feel like I had a piece of me back. She made me laugh and just made me feel like we had been friends for years! Definitely coming back to her! AMAZING work!

I don’t know what the lady name is but I asked for layers and she messed my hair up. The “layers” aren’t even blended. This my last time coming over there. They were overall nice but thats besides the point. It looked like she knew what she was doing but don’t be fooled. Go somewhere else y’all before you have something to worry about.

Overall, a very new look for the Mint Hill area. My first time I went, I thought I was going to Great Clips until I saw Fantastic Sams was in its place. I gave it a try and luckily I had the, then manager, Jessica as my stylist. She made me feel welcomed, comfortable, and I felt so impressed with the salon vibe. After my cut, I immediately claimed her as my stylist and have been going since. Although, now that Jessica is no longer working at the salon anymore, I do like the new manager named Megan. Bright, professional, and outgoing. My experience with Megan was amazing. I didn’t realize the salon closed at 6 on saturdays and arrived five minutes before closing and out of the kindness of her heart she managed to still give me a quick shape up. When I say this woman went in on my hair, she made me feel like a million bucks. The salon is now my go to place for me to clean up and get fresh. Completely recommend and I even get my eyebrows done now thanks to Fantastic Sams. Much love.
