I just started going there recently, the first couple of times had no issues, but this time I went on Nov 17th to get my roots done I had to fly out of the country so couldn’t go back the same day or the next day went to the salon first they were in denial told me I’ve regrowth and all that, don’t even listen keep telling me I’m lying or maybe don’t know what I am talking about, went back on Friday got them redone exactly same day my hair started getting like nothing was done, didn’t take shower or anything I went to the manager again, the fact is she keeps telling me I don’t see anything you can’t see your mistakes I wasn’t asking for money or anything I wanted them to acknowledge something went wrong and it was like I got paint done which was gone by the end of the day. Anyways not going back to this again you guys suppose to listen to your clients, nothing like this ever happened. Respect your customers she didn’t even listen to me and decided that she was not going to help, it’s really sad and frustrating you didn’t do any favors for me I paid for your service

I’ve always had good service at this location until two weeks ago when I came in on a Sunday at 2:30 p.m. I only needed a trim that would have taken 15 minutes tops. They close at 3 p.m. on Sundays and refused me service. If you’re not going to take haircuts after 2:30 p.m. on Sundays, please reflect that in your posted business hours so people like me don’t have to waste our time.

This rating is being done pre visit based on my phone calls to this business. I was referred here by a friend. When I called to make an apt, I was told the stylist I wanted would be there on Saturday and was told they only do walk ins, but to call before coming to see how busy her day was turning out to be. I called in Saturday and spoke with another employee who was rather gruff when telling me they don’t make appointments and I need to just walk in to see how busy the person I wanted was. This is very frustrating. I plan my days and hesitate on taking a chance spending one of my few days off waiting in a hair styling place for an unknown amount of time. Dislike, Dislike, Dislike! I will update this review when and if I feel the energy to take a chance and see if I can get in soon or be made to wait for hours .. or even worse, told to come back later in the day!

So far, it’s the worst haircut I have ever had. I wouldn’t understand the difficulty in cutting around with #1, but even that was an impossible task for them, my hair 1/2 inch long still sticking around in random places. I’ve been to this place a few times before, and it was acceptable, but I’m not going there ever again.

As someone who grew up with a mother who worked for this company for 30+ years I can truly say that they don’t let people down and they actually care about the services they preform. It honestly doesn’t matter who does my hair it always turns out great when I get it done here.Toni is such a sweetheart and did my hair today. She spent a little over 3 hours giving me exactly what I wanted (balayage highlights with a mermaid pattern) she also asked me if I wanted a hair trim toward the end of my service, but I knew it was getting late so I asked her if she had time and she just looked at me and said even if we didn’t have time I would finish your service.Thank you Fantastic Sams of Colonie for bringing such a great atmosphere to every visit! This place is trash , the woman at the front was rude and on her phone for 10mims before she helped us and was talking about her home life, nothing that would validate me and my son waiting. I also want to point out that after she checked us in we sat down waited another 10mims before she even mentioned that it would be another 45min!!!! We were just there to get a quick trim for him since his birthday is next week. I told her you could have told us and he’s cut only takes 5mins if that !!!! She responded with well that’s why I’m telling u now…..YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME DURING MY 10MINS I WAS WAITING FOR U TO GET OFF THE PHONE ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ ♀️
