I’ve been wanting to get a perm for the summer and was really happy to find Fantastic Sams. Everyone was so friendly, and my hairstylist Hannah was wonderful! Hannah cut and styled my hair in which she did such an amazing job! She was very attentive in listening to what I wanted, thoughtful in her approach and instruments used as well as always asking me permission for each step. I am very happy with the result and definitely would recommend her to anyone who needs a good haircut, perm, or hair coloring! Front desk staff are also so kind and approachable, despite showing up a little later then expected Denise made everything work out perfectly! I have a huge appreciation for well run businesses and knew I had to give a review on this salon. Overall the stylists were all very professional and knowledgeable. The salon was very clean, organized and well maintained. I surely will be back in the future, thanks to the Fantastic Sams team!

The woman cutting my hair had zero attention to detail, was extra rough with the comb and razor and just in general had no idea how to perform her job- like who shoves your head forward? I’m an adult, if you want me to lean forward, ask. She should find a new line of work. My first and last time going there. This hast to be the WORST haircut I’ve ever gotten if I could give negative stars it would be -5. My hair is uneven and cut so “ducked” up it looks like I have a toupee on.

This was my first visit to Fantastic Sams Boonton, and was my first hair cut in over a year. I had Wendy as a stylist, and she did an amazing job with my cut! She was so friendly, and super professional. Having curly hair, it can be scary getting a hair cut, but Wendy made sure that I was completely happy with my cut! I will be back again for sure!

I’ve seen any of the stylist that work there though and never had a bad cut ! My wife also gets her color done her every month and the prices are good compared to other privately owned salons in the area and she loves how they do it . My wife also gets her color done her every month and the prices are good compared to other privately owned salons in the area and she loves how they do it . Update December 2019: Adding stars for an improved experience. I am updating after having reconnected with my previous star stylist there. I had not known Nguyet (Newett) was still there before when I had my poor experiences. When I saw her in there when I was walking by I decided to give another try. Nguyet is 5 stars. If you do go there definitely see her. I understand there may be some other of the earlier stylists there as well and probably worth seeing. It is a shame that the shop has not yet returned fully to the positive experiences my family had in the past though.

Critical: Quality, Valuei went here last year for a simple trim and curtain bangs, came out with 6 inches off and the shortest and most uneven bangs ever. when i got home i showed my grandmother and she had to RECUT my bangs because they were so horrendous.Service: Haircut

I have been going to booton fantastic Sam’s for a year now Kim had been cutting my hair awesome hair stylist. Kim has been out on vacation. When Kim is not working staff there are rude close early came in at 10 am for haircut was told would have to come back at 1:30 there was nobody there getting haircut very disappointed with this place don’t know how they stay in business with such terrible service.
