Decent for basic haircuts, trims, etc. It’s a budget salon, so you know what to expect. Everyone has always been friendly.

Usually happy but last 2 appts cut much shorter than I asked. Even had a picture of exactly what I wanted, both times, so not sure why the stylists didn’t listen to me. I know it’s just hair but mine grows slowly and I am unfortunately disappointed with the past 2 haircuts.

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityAfter reading rave reviews, we decided to take my 4-year old boy to Fantastic Sam’s but we just had a very upsetting incident. My nanny was 10 minutes late to an appointment and was turned away. This felt a bit draconian but we understood the policy. She showed up to the next day’s appointment 5 minutes early and was asked to wait…. 25 minutes. She was there with both my sons and wasn’t told they’d be waiting that long. Unsurprisingly they started misbehaving at which point one of the hairdressers told off my nanny and accused her of being on her phone and not taking care of the boys – apparently my nanny should have been waiting outside in the parking lot to avoid disrupting the salon. My 4-year old son was crying after the incident. I drove over myself to talk to the hair stylist who continued to admonish my boys and my nanny. She did end up cutting my son’s hair (while making passive aggressive comments at me) and didn’t charge us which is why I’m giving a 2 instead of 1. I won’t be revisiting this salon after the way they treated my nanny.Service: HairstylingAfter reading rave reviews, we decided to take my 4-year old boy to Fantastic Sam’s but we just had a very upsetting incident. Critical: ProfessionalismIt was my first time visiting, and I walked in to the place and asked if I could do a walk-in haircut. I was met with a no, which is understandable, and asked how to make an appointment. I was flatly told I “can not get a haircut here”. If this is true, it seems like false advertising. I feel a more appropriate way to address the situation was to assist in notifying the potential client in how to create an appointment.Very unhelpful and unsatisfactory experience. Would never recommend and have notified the person who recommended me and they are confused as well by my experience. It was my first time visiting, and I walked in to the place and asked if I could do a walk-in haircut. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI made an appointment and arrived there a few minutes before my appointment time. I was greeted by the front desk and was told that they were running late for about 15 mins. So I waited. About 20 mins later, a family walked in and said they had an appointment for haircut. They were served right away even though I was there before them. I did not say anything because I saw another hairdresser who was about to finish cutting a customer’s hair. So I assume she would cut my hair after that. After she was done, she did not come to talk to me. Instead, she told the woman at the front desk that she would wash another customer’s hair then she would cut my hair right there so I could hear her clearly. She could have just come to talk to me directly. It’s almost like she would not bother to address me directly. So the front desk woman told me what I just heard. At that point, I asked her why the family who came after me got haircut before me. She looked up in the computer for a long while. I was curious what good excuse she would come up with. Then she walked away without a word! I am Asian, with the increased discrimination incidents against Asian American these days, I can’t help wondering if this is one of them? I hope not.I made an appointment and arrived there a few minutes before my appointment time. I was greeted by the front desk and was told that they were running late for about 15 mins. So I waited.
