I am a cosmetologist witj many of years in braiding hair, uunto her knowning the owner raise my price one than a second time when all I wanted was threading to stretch my hair. The owner was very rude, she started raising her voice at me because I would not agree to her over pricing of $250 for braid threading. Please caution yourselves if you choose to get service there.

First of all it should be a crime to braid people hair too tight lol frfr I went to this place the other day what a waste of time and money two girls braided my hair both had attitudes the heavy set one braided my hair so tight that my scalp was tender to touch and I’m not tender headed at all but that’s how tight it was I could barely sleep ok that’s not it I got micros they didn’t even know how to do them just wait to you see pic and they attitude was just evil they comb my hair so hard ok I’m thinking what is really wrong with these people like really I have a lot of experience with getting my hair done by all races but I swear Africans is some of the most mean people to me these girls should not be braiding hair for a living it should be a crime fr because some black AA like me try so hard to grow our hair naturally and to pay someone to pull and tug on your mane is very disappointing I’m just turned off period I will not patronize another African I’m done it’s unbelievable how these girls are braiding people hair and don’t know how to do the style good or properly comb hair love your mane woman do not waste your money or time I even have bald spots

Critical: ProfessionalismI had the worse crochet hairdo and was overcharged due to the type of human hair I brought. As soon as I walked in, I showed the owner the hair & she stated that it was okay. After braiding my hair to start the crochet, I was told that they can’t do the crochet due the type of hair! After much discussion that’s when a another stylist who happen to be a more professional stylist took the initiative to do the crochet. The style was horrible though! I had the worse crochet hairdo and was overcharged due to the type of human hair I brought. As soon as I walked in, I showed the owner the hair & she stated that it was okay. After braiding my hair to start the crochet, I was told that they can’t do the crochet due the type of hair! My experience was semi-pleasant. The woman who did my hair was nice, however, the pricing was wayyy too unreasonable. I asked for two regular braids, my hair was already washed and detangled and I did not need any hair extensions and was charged $30, when a friend of mine was only charged $10 when she went in. I’m pretty sure it was because I was new to the area and it was my first time going in. As for the braids themselves, she put too much gel on my hair and it started to flake the next day and it looked really gross. The braids were pretty, but make sure to specifify the design before they start. I’ve only had them in for two days and they’re already loose and ready to take out, which is very disappointing becuase of how much I paid. I don’t recommend going to this place mainly because of the pricing. The quality of work is passable, but the pricing is a deal breaker.

Went for crochet braids… The stylist did not listen when I said dont make it thick and heavy. It was extremely full and than Fanta cut the inside. When I left, you could see my braids. The next day, i went back to have them take it out… No refunds! Very disappointed with the service.

I would never recommend any one to go here. I’m not one to complain but this is necessary. I went there this past Sunday was told the box braids world be 130. I said OK no worries even Though i never pay that much for box braids. I then noticed they just started braiding a little princessess hair and she was crying,screaming the entire time. I said to myself i will come back, i will not sit through this. I then informed Fanta i would come back, SHE ASKED ME TO LEAVEA DEPOSIT . I asked why wouldi do that she said cause she took the hair out the bag, i politely said we’ll you can put it back. I’ve never experienced such unprofessionalism. I could see if they had started my hair or if they had started getting the hair ready.

The worst place to get braids. I got my hair done there the lady who was doing my hair had no idea how to braid. The braids were coming off after 2 days. She was so rude she kept on burping throughout the whole time she was doing my hair. That was very nasty.
