Then, a couple days ago I broke one of my nails on one finger and on a different finger but same hand I cracked the polish and my nail bed. So I made an appointment with Karen and she got me right in!! She was very gentle with a the finger that had a cracked nail bed. Now my nails look new all over again. Thank you so much Karen for the amazing work on my nails and toes. I love them!! I highly recommend going to fancy nails for all of your nail care needs!! I went to Karen to get my nails and toes done last week and she did an amazing job!! Then, a couple days ago I broke one of my nails on one finger and on a different finger but same hand I cracked the polish and my nail bed. So I made an appointment with Karen and she got me right in!! She was very gentle with a the finger that had a cracked nail bed. Now my nails look new all over again. I went back to get my nails filled today after admittedly not my favorite first experience. I’d waited longer than I’d have liked and the tech wasn’t the most welcoming, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized the place had been PACKED and frankly, she wasn’t unwelcoming, she was trying to finish my nails to do the 4 others waiting and 3 more who walked in—and she did them SO well. So, I went back today and honestly, it was such a lovely experience. I had a different technician today and she was so friendly. She chatted with me and when I’d selected a nail color, she asked if I wanted a design on my ring finger—told me she had a Halloween idea when I said I’d love her to do something of her own. She did such a good job with the little spider and then went back to put little eyes on it. Truthfully, I think she did a better job on my nails than my first trip, but it was far less busy-and, the first technician handled insanity super well. I saw the same employee today deal with customers who would make me personally lose my mind—and she handled them politely, kindly, reasonably, and didn’t charge them extra for what she definitely could have. I recommend this place for anyone who can reasonably understand the service industry and fluctuations in how busy places are. You’ll get a great manicure for a great price.

Worst nails I’ve ever had. Waste of $60! Such a sloppy and unprofessional job. I walked out with my coat sleeves over my hands because I was embarrassed of them. I removed the gel polish as soon as I got home and redid them MYSELF and they look 10x better. I can’t believe I was CHARGED $2 EACH for those sloppy, hideous hearts!

(6-9-22 @ 9:15am) Wasn’t worth $35.00+$10.00 tip. I called ahead to see if it’d be okay if I walked in or if they were too busy. The lady said if I come now it’s fine; so I did. Walked in, told the lady that I called ahead for a manicure. She asked if I wanted a acrylic manicure and I said “no thank, I have real nails”…. Her voice and demeanor changed after that. She became very short and bossy towards me, telling me where to sit and then kinda got rude towards me when I started looking at the sides of the booths to sit at the number that she told me to at (it was my first time there). Just moved to Janesville from Madison about a year ago. The lady who did my nails was nice but she used the drill (on my real nails), I was mortified! She didn’t cut my cuticles, barely let me soak my hands in the water, didn’t file or buff my nails properly. I asked the lady if she could reshape my nails but she didn’t (she asked if I wanted them to be cut, I said “no just reshape them to be square shaped please”). My fingers were sticky after she was done and there’s blue fabric material debris painted in my left index finger. It was VERY rushed! I figured since I paid a lot more for gel polish that they would’ve done a way better job. I guess I paid $35.00+ just for gel nail polish. I don’t know if they treat people like that who come in with real natural nails or if it’s just a “I don’t care” kinda day but I’m not happy with the results. I’ll be trying somewhere else next time.

I show them a reference picture and I walk out with something that I love even more. This time I couldn’t find the color I was looking for so she made me a color by mixing a few.
