Thank goodness this place was open after I called ahead to another local nail salon nearby and was told they would take us without an appointment. That other nail salon then told us when we got there that they were booked and they don’t know who myself and my friend had talked to = we were so perplexed and confused. Fancy’s took us without delay and I got the nicest polish touch up for a fraction of what I typically pay in Ann Arbor. Thank you to your staff for making us feel like regulars you saved the day!

It’s been about a week since me and my girlfriend went in to Fancy Nails, we got Manicures and Pedicure and I have to admit they did a Splendid job! I had my doubts but a week later my hands and feet are still looking nice and clean. My girlfriends nails look splendid as well. Even though their English is not the best, I could tell they were trying their best. I’m definitely satisfied with this salon and would recommend it.

I asked for a manicure.In all my 63 years, a manicure has consisted of shaping nails, trimming cuticles, massaging hands and forearms.I received some of that.He shaped my nails, somewhat trimmed my cuticles, did a very bad paint job, put oil on my finger tips, told me to wash my hands and promptly asked for $27.00.I put lotion on my hands at home after spending 30ish minutes removing shellac polish from fingered around my nails. Can’t get the polish off my cuticles without ruining the rest. So disappointed.I just left the salon. Soooo unhappy. I will not be going back. Not worth the money. Went in and got the dip powder nails which is supposed to last longer then shellac and they came off the 2nd day… Very disappointed! Unfrienley staff and terrible customer service

I had never gotten my nails done before and I wanted something nice for the holidays so I went and got them done at Fancy Nails in Chelsea. The first 2 times I went I had the same girl both times and she did a great job. I went this past weekend and I had the man do my nails, I had never seen him in there before, and it was obvious that he didn’t know what he was doing. The first thing I notice that was absolutely wrong was he kept looking up and was not paying attention to what he was doing, so he filed the skin right above my nail and now I have a nasty laceration. As I was looking at my nails after I got home I noticed the sides of my nails were bare or only had one coat of the polish. As I looked further I noticed there was a hair under the topcoat because he did not brush off my nails like he was supposed to. I had to come home and file my nails so they wouldn’t hurt me because he did not file the sharp corners. The job was done very poorly and my nails just look very thick and fake. I will not be having him doing my nails ever again.
