Wound up here accidentally when I made an appointment at Somers Nails. As I’m new to the area, I saw the nail salon and asked if it was Somers Nails. I was told yes, they checked their book and confirmed that I had an appointment. I now know it was not the salon that I had booked! Although there were very few people there, the owner insisted that two different women provide the services, resulting in a very rushed, inadequate mani/pedi. The nails are uneven and not fully covered with polish. The ladies were lovely, but I won’t be back. Overall impressions were a dingy salon, old products, and subpar services.

Great nail salon. My mother is in a wheelchair and they are always accommodating. The service is fantastic and individualized. They do a great job and take their time with each customer. Being treated and welcomed is very important. This solan is always welcoming. The owner is friendly and welcoming. They really care about their customers. Anyone who has given this salon a bad review is wrong and left a bad review out of malice. This is the Best solan in Westchester.

Terrible, worst experience. I had called to make an appointment a few days earlier and i asked how much the acrylics would cost, they told me 58 dollars. once i went inside and they noticed i was only 16, they changed the price to 80 dollars and when i asked why, the man said “the nail shape and design is difficult.” for reference i had asked for short almond nails with only pink coloring, no designs. i attatched the photo of the nails that i got/ asked for. please explain how this, plain basic nails, is too difficult. never go here, terrible service and clearly scamming kids for any sort of money they can get.

Took daughter in for gel manicure for $38. When I came back to pick her up they had charger $100 and said they did UV acrylic base with gel manicure for $80 plus other fees like $10 to shape. When I said I did not ask for that they just looked at me and again said $100. They took advantage. She said they even tried to put tips on each nail and luckily she told them no so they stopped. That was after they asked her how much she paid for her watch!

I have never in my life received such AWFUL service. I paid $40 for a full set of nails, the lady rushed through it so quickly because she wanted to leave early. I asked for a french on the tips she had just put on. For starters, two nails are about to come off (the day after). She DID NOT CLEAN THE RIDGE (with the makeup brush, like every other place in the world does). The whites are UNEVEN. She filed them uneven. And everyone here was disgustingly rude. My 9yr old daughter would have done a better job. I couldn’t possibly be more upset with this “salon”.
