Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI had been a loyal customer for years – so much so that I would travel from Hampton Bays, Moriches, and now Patchogue (wherever I moved I would make sure to ONLY use this salon!). The wait was long at peak hours but what I loved about them was that if I went right when they opened they would open 30 minutes early and take you anyway and get started. They also had a staff of great people doing amazing massages. This was my happy place! My schedule changed and I’m only able to go after work when they were busy. As usual during a peak time I had to wait. Sat me in a manicure chair for 45 minutes waiting for someone. The technician I got was so mean, I left so upset. I just had a baby so I haven’t been able to go in months and the previous powder gel I had on when I gave birth 3 months ago chipped and of course made my nails look awful. The woman made fun of how they looked. I had a cut on my cuticle and she called her manager over and said can I even do this manicure and he said yes do it. So instead of avoiding it she pokes at it until it bleeds then tells me I should go see a doctor. This was a ridiculous comment it wasn’t even anything serious. So after a rough manicure where she files my nails down so low and makes me bleed, I ask for an eyebrow wax. She tells me how bad my eyebrows look, I said I know it’s been a while, she does it then goes look at all this hair on the wax paper that’s no good. That night my powder gel chips and the rest chipped off a week later. All that rudeness and I didn’t even have a quality manicure. After 5 years of loyalty and putting up with them it only took that once time. I had been a loyal customer for years – so much so that I would travel from Hampton Bays, Moriches, and now Patchogue (wherever I moved I would make sure to ONLY use this salon!). The wait was long at peak hours but what I loved about them was that if I went right when they opened they would open 30 minutes early and take you anyway and get started.
