Took my daughters to get their hair cut. An even cut, nothing fancy. Ladies hands were shaking like crazy. She was very nice at first but then defensive when I pointed out a few uneven sections. I wasn’t rude either. She took the cover off before finishing their cut and continued to trim their hair without the cape. My girls got small hair all over their clothes and skin. I don’t think this lady knew what she was doing or trained very well. I came home to straighten a few hairs she left long and uneven. Never taking my kids or recommending this place.

Absolutely do not get your hair cut here. They cut peoples hair and let them leave with one side longer than the other and lopsided. Do you people even have licenses to be cutting hair?

Experienced and friendly staff made for The best hair cut we could’ve asked for. We came in with photos of the cut style we wanted. We were quickly obliged and seated. The cut took no time at all and the stylist was efficient and entertaining. The price was as listed and very affordable, all in all definitely a place we can see ourselves returning to for our hair cuts.

My hairstylist was amazing!!! I knew I wanted her to do my hair from the time I walked in because of how professional she was with the client that was in her chair. Rochelle was sweet and very professional. She did an awesome job flat ironing my natural hair. She only use one pass per section and she did an awesome job trimming and cutting my hair. I absolutely love it and will definitely go to her again. Even though she was off at 5 she didn’t rush her passes through my hair just so she could leave.

When I get here the place is absolutely packed and it took them forever to check us in. Then she tells me to go to the first shampoo chair and when I sit down she tells me to give her a few minutes she needs a break and takes a 10 minute break. Absolutely awful experience. I called 10 minutes prior to coming to see if I needed to make an appointment and was told no there is only 1 person waiting. When I get here the place is absolutely packed and it took them forever to check us in. 8 booths, 3 stylist in on a Saturday. 3 customers in chairs upon arriving and I am told there will be a 45 minute wait. After 20+ minutes of waiting, a guy comes in and they blow him off with there will be a long wait. He left. I have been coming here for 15+ years and this place is one of the few in town. They should have a waiting area full and a full staff. Nope, just me. I have no rush and decided to stick it out. Tell me what you think the problem is here that customers aren’t even attempting. Owner should really look at their operating plan. They just told another guy it would be 45 minutes. He also left.

My stylist was very nice , I’m not sure if it was bc of my black boxed hair color but only my roots took color. My stylist (blonde lady) was very sweet to try to give me 2 cap scrubs to make my hair try to match my ends, but at the end of the day my hair is botched. Looks worse then when I came in. Stylist was very nice but my hair is beyond botched. This was the finished product.

Got my hair cut here and had the pleasure of getting the sweetest lady. When washing my hair she gave the best head massage and took her time to make sure I was happy with the end results. Would highly recommend this salon.

While this isn’t a review of Famous Hair as a whole, it is a review of my experience with Donna cutting my hair. My first (and only) experience having Donna do my hair was a disaster to say the least. I have been growing my hair out for about six months working towards a new style. I have been wearing in short and spiked for many years now and wanted a change. I was getting some good length on top and letting the sides and back fill in as well. I have had a couple light trims prior and came in to famous hair looking to have about a half inch trimmed off the top and the sides and back cleaned up and blended. When she was finished, Donna had cut about three inches off the top and buzzed the sides and back waaaay shorter than I wanted. It was like she was just working towards what she wanted or thought would look good and not what I told her I was looking for. I left looking like I was going to an interview for the sheriff’s dept or something, totally not the look I was going for. So it looks like I will be starting over again and not having Donna touch my hair when its time to trim again.
