The shop environment is very friendly. This was my first time getting a haircut from Famous Fadez and was reccomended to get it from Roman, by a friend. Roman knew that I came in for my wedding haircut and he made sure I was taken care of. He is very nice to speak to and made sure that I looked my best. I would recommend anyone going to this shop, to get an appointment with Roman. Very professional and relaxing. 10/10

If you are ever in carol stream and in need of a cut, you have to come to this location. Honestly hands down one of the best looking barber shop in the Chicagoland ! All the barbers throw down, But I have to give it to my barber Roman B ! First time booking with him will make you a forever customer! I just moved in the area and was looking for a new place to get my haircut since my go to barber is now far from me. I went to famous fadez and was nervous the new guy would mess up my hair. As I walked in I was told to go to Roman. Let me just say he did a phenomenal job! I was relieved and impressed by my new haircut. Now I only let him cut my hair. He takes his time and always makes sure I like it. I highly recommend Roman for your next haircut.

Unfortunately had a bad experience with Famous Fadez. I heard many good things and had high expectations coming into it. I booked an appointment with one of the barbers and when I went in I was met with an unexpected wait of about 20-25 minutes because the barber was late. I didn’t think it would take over an hour to cut my hair but I guess it did. I payed and soon after I left I found out that the barber overcharged me $40 and I inconveniently had to go back to get a refund for said $40. I knew going into it that Famous Fadez charges more than a lot of barber shops but man I expect a little better customer service when I’m paying more for a haircut. Otherwise, I think the barber did a great job on my haircut, I just hate to complain about the customer service.

I’ve been coming to see Hector for two years now, both my son and me, and this is the first time I felt compelled to write a review. Not only is my haircut always on point, Hector takes the time to find out what exactly we want, and executes to perfection. His patience, understanding and meticulous execution of not only mine, but my 12 year olds wants is commendable. I only wish more professionals would put so much dedication to their craft.
