I have been coming to Family Nails for a few years whenever I want a pedicure or gel nails. The service and attention to detail here is amazing. I am in the beauty industry for over 10 years, this place is top salon I’m area. I travel 20 minutes while there are 3 nail salons on my street alone. It is the only place I will bring my 5 year old when she on occasion gets her nails done. They treat her like a princess and go above and beyond to talk with her and always add designs for her. Highly recommend!

I really want to like this place because it’s conveniently located but the last time I was there I felt like they just wanted more and more money from me. I wanted a toe polish change with nail trim and was told it would cost the same to get a pedicure. In the moment I said “ok, I’ll get a pedicure” but looking back that doesn’t make any sense. I didn’t want a pedicure and ended up paying more and wasting time.

This is my mothers and my favorite nail salon. I moved to Essex county and still make the trip to come here because theyre so good. One of the cleanest salons I’ve ever been in, the staff is great and they make us feel like royalty every time we come. The spa pedis are so luxurious and I swear my mani lasts longer when I go here than when I go anywhere else. Can be a little pricy but very worth it imo for the experience and quality of products not to mention long lasting manicures and pedicures. Love my Family Nails family!

I went in to have my gel polish removed. That’s it. No cuticle trimming, no filing, nothing. Just removed. She charged me $25!

Come here if you want to blow at least $100. They lack customer service skills and charge you $10 to remove gel/nail polish without telling you. They gave me a gel pedicure and didn’t scrub my feet (they did the pedicure out of order) and charged me $55- the same price as if my feet were scrubbed. Don’t waste your time.

Ok at first I thought this was a great place, u til I went to pay. It cost me 190.00 dollars for a spa pedal, and extension with uv gel. I thought I miss heard wrong. 3 days later I lost 2 nails, Too over priced and they don’t use enough product and they really need to learn how to shape nails alot better. I have small nail bed so they make nails so wide they look fake. Asked if they could reshape my nails to look like they belong to.my hands and I was told I asked for square and that what I received.

I visited this place owner is so greedy ….her prices go up and down by looking at customer. She will not let you go if you want to leave because of the price…will make you sit there and till the time you are at her place she will keep on insulting you by showing different customers how she is ripping them off. She is paying $100 or $120 . She was charging another customer i was standing there paying for my service she spoke so loudly $100 so that i can hear she is paying $100 , ok you can charge $ 500 if its not in my range i donot want to do. I turned didn’t pay attention then she called me to show look this customer paying $100. Why do i care ? You agreed with me paying $ 60 why you are showing me what you are charging them.i was leaving even didn’t want to do. You made me sit there.I felt insulted . I will never visit this place again.
