Positive: Cleanliness, Punctuality, QualityI’m new to the area so I was desperately looking for a new nail spot. I read some really good reviews on here and it was super close so I figured why not?I am SO happy I did. Someone recommended Kathy and I made an appointment with her. I get dip, keep my nails short and am super particular about shape and thickness. She filed them perfectly and they weren’t too thick like other places. Family nails is amazing! Have my nails done there as well as my pedicure and now I have permanent make up done by Mary! T The best part about going there for your nails is that whether it’s Mary or Cathy or Vivian everybody does an excellent job I make an appointment with Mary and it’s prompt and I rarely have to wait more than a few minutes if I have to wait at all. The young man who does my pedicure does an excellent job. And as my eyebrows have been thinning with age I decided to consider permanent make up in the form of eyebrows I have seen a lot of bad permanent make up and was very skeptical but I noted all of the beautiful eyebrows on the women working there and when Mary informed me that she had done them I decided to take a chance. I will never regret that decision she did an incredible job and had me come back in six weeks so that she could “touch up my eyebrows for any areas that needed it. Both times were painless she make sure that she measures and re-measures and remeasure and shows you what it’s going to look like before she starts ! I am so happy that I have done this and have been asked by family and friends what I did to my face and then I look younger! I have not posted any pictures of the eyebrows because I just had my six week follow up but I will and I have never been happier with them! She also does permanent eyeliner and permanent lipstick which at this point I am not interested in but she has done on her own face and the woman who work there and it’s beautiful she takes pride and Karen homework as you all of the people that work at Family nails! I have sent a recent photo of my nails that I had done last and I normally just do a French manicure and decided to go for something a little different the photo was taken three weeks after it was done they are still shiny they look as good as they did the first day. I will post pictures of my eyebrows in a couple of weeks. If you want a place that’s considerate of your time that’s reasonably priced and most of all a place where you’re not afraid to tell them what you want and if you want things your way.

At first I thought it was going to be a good place. Family nails, so I brought my sister. I wanted almond and got something far from it. I wasn’t going to write a review but this morning I woke up to my cuticles inflamed with itchy little bumps. This experience was definitely not the greatest. She started my nails just fine. I thought they looked decent but then a group of people came in and she just rushed to finish. The nails don’t even cover my natural nails. I didn’t know what she was doing until after I left but in stead of fixing it she decided to just cut my natural nail, To try and hide it, I’m assuming. They are also so uneven and lopsided. They don’t even look like they could pass as real nails. I’m so upset my nails came out so terrible. I’ll be going back today to show them.

I have been going to have my nails done by Kathy for 15 or 20 years. I was her 1st client. She is fantastic at her profession! She knows exactly how I like my nails done! Anytime I ask her to do nail art or something different, she has no problem with it. I wouldn’t change who does my nails or WHERE i have them done for anything. Thank you Kathy for the years of wonderful nails and a wonderful friendship. Family Nails is the best! Thank you Mary!

Family Nails is amazing. Great prices. Very clean. A special thanks to Vivian! She’s absolutely amazing! She does nail art like I’ve never seen, BY HAND! My nails last very long, never chip,(even during pandemic- 4 months my nails lasted& not 1 chipped, a MIRACLE. I moved, n I will still drive over 30 min to see Vivian. She amazes me every time. Thank you family nails for providing such amazing service.

I called a few days before to reserve a spot with a particular girl since I went to her 3 times and was always satisfied. The one time I went to someone else, I was very dissatisfied. When I walked in they sat me down with someone else which I was confused about but didn’t say anything at first. Without even prepping my nails properly she started applying the acrylic. After a few nails I noticed they were complete crooked and different sizes. I pointed it out and she kept telling me to “be patient” and that it would look good when finished. I started crying about halfway through. It only kept getting worse and I kept asking why can’t I go to the girl I made the appointment with and she ignored that questions. I called a few days before to reserve a spot with a particular girl since I went to her 3 times and was always satisfied. The one time I went to someone else, I was very dissatisfied. They overbook and you get pushed back on your appointment time when they get a walk in . They say they can see you and then call you back saying they don’t have time . They have trouble understanding what I want on my nails . The foot massages are minimal . They are very gossipy . Just a poor ran business . Also was overfilled with people and dogs during the pandemic when there was a mandate on how many people were allowed in buildings . I truly believe they just want to make money and want as many customers as possible . also it’s very dirty in there .

I just got dip nails for the first time today. Kathy did an amazing job. I’ve known her since I was about 12 years old (31 now) and she’s one of the only people who I will let do my nails. I mostly do my own manicures and pedicures because 1. I can and 2. I’m INCREDIBLY particular about how they look. I’ve missed Kathy so much and I knew I would love my nails and, of course, she didn’t disappoint. I love the dip nails. They feel and look natural!!! Will be coming back to see Kathy and Mary! I would highly recommend seeing her for your nails if you want them to be perfect!!! I couldn’t figure out how to attach a photo to this review but if you search photos I have the nails with little dots on them. Saw it on Pinterest and Kathy made it happen!!!
