My first time here and wow! I had the pleasure of having Julie for my gel manicure. Such care was taken, all nails were shaped and painted beautifully! Awesome little back and hand massage included. Reasonable prices. Other salons I have gone to leave the nails streaky and uneven and cut your cuticles so they bleed.. no complaints here at Family Nails. The owner was friendly and funny! Will DEFINITELY be back!

The place is nice and cheap. Most of the the employees are nice. However I don’t recommend getting them done by the manager. He does not follow the inspo picture and just does things his own way. I suggest getting a one color only.

I have been visiting Family Nails since it first opened its doors back in July 2010. High quality, excellent customer service, and great prices keep me coming back again and again. I visit them once every 3 weeks to get a gel manicure and pedicure. Owners Kevin and Kim are so friendly and all of the staff are well trained and always greet the customers with a smile. Somehow I have never had to wait for service except for twice on a weekend, but the owners always try to ensure the wait is minimal. Even during busy times, I never feel rushed and the staff take their time to make sure they do a great job. They even throw in a back massage with every manicure (gel or regular nailpolish)! I have tried other nail salons in the area and also in NYC and Hoboken (where I live) but the unbeatable prices and customer service has made me vow to never go anywhere else. I have even gotten my husband addicted to this place. Highly recommended!

I first found Family Nails because I worked down the road on Main St, but have since moved and changed jobs so it takes me almost an hour to get there. IT IS SO WORTH THE TRIP! This is seriously one of the best places around. The prices are great and my gel manicure would last a month if I let it go that long. They take their time and are so friendly. Seriously, I recommend them to everyone. I’ll keep going as long as I’m in NJ!

I probably was literally one of their first customer way back when they opened. I’m still going. They do the best mani/pedi ever. We have since moved out of the area but visit frequently. When we are in town, I go there every chance. They do the BEST foot massage! Warning, it’s addictive. They work those tired feet back to being alive again, very rejuvenating. The polish outlasts any place I’ve been to while on the road. Gel or regular polish, they never get your cuticles. Well groomed, and clean. I don’t believe the other reviews about not sanitizing the tools, I’m neurotic about that and they have ALWAYS sanitized all tools for all customers. I watch this carefully. No place is perfect, but Family Nails is the closest I’ve ever experienced!

The girls that give pedicures are very friendly and do a great job. The owner, on the other hand, is not friendly and his no common courtesy toward customers. I will not contribute my money, to a person would does not appreciate his customers. Oh and he smokes cigarettes at back of the salon and the smoke travels through the salon. Just disgusting!

The women there are great but DO NOT let the owner do your nails. One time he made me massage and lotion my own hands and instead of giving me a back massage as they usually do, left to go watch cartoons in the seat across from me.
