My friend J. Simpsson had her hair done here and it looked bad for the money her and her daughter spent. The shop replied their hair was short. Well being a braider myself, ( and I don’t live in Mi.) when the braider sees the customers hair ,they have the right to refuse the service. I braid very short hair and their hair is not that short at All! I’m only saying something because the owner tries to make them look ignorant when in reality they are money grubbers who can’t do braids very well. They used silky hair on kinky twist for God’s sake! The twists were unraveling. My friend asked for short and they made them long. These women are lazy in their profession and very disrespectful to the community they serve. I wouldn’t let them braid my dogs head. Below is what she got vs what she wanted. If anybody is paying attention their replies to ppl is calling them rude and ignorant Is this a stereotype she is trying to portray? If you read what I said I don’t live in Michigan. The proof is in the pudding with these photos. Complaints or what you call attitude is warranted. You do a sloppy job flat out. BTW others said your shop is dirty too. I guess everyone is lying.Youre replying but won’t say why you didn’t turn them away if their hair was sooo short. It must have been long enough to do this shotty job!

This is the worst place I have never Got my hair braidedAnd my head feels like no one ever touched it braids are coming out My daughter had to go back to get braids redone! And yes! This place is dirty! My daughter paid $400 and all we got was played! They said our hair was too short! I show the young lady pictures of our hair we have short hair by choice! And if u couldn’t braid short hair then you should have said so! Kinky twisted wasn’t that at all! Please don’t waste your time coming here and they are rude and not on time! Also they are too slow

I will never go back to this place the daughter was an half and hour late .the mother tells the daughter to stop doing my hair while she’s half way into my hair and expected me to wait on another braided to finish the job her daughter started.so her daughter can work on someone else that just walked in the mother is very rude and had me messed up those people.is a joke and very unprofessional ..

Very unprofessional 1 1/2 late for my appointment still didnt start on my hair right away coming back for touch up after 2 days 3 twist fell out then more and more inly had for 3 weeks then they still wanted to charge me the full touch up price. Lol no ma’am very rude will never return again

Got my hair done last Friday 8/23/2013. I asked for zillions and I got a bad job done. They cornrowed my hair near the center and the back of my head (lazy work). They were nice, however, in terms of getting zillions done, not so much. I will NEVER go to that place again. The one star is only because the young lady that helped out with my hair was so nice.

This place is horrible. DON’T GET YOUR HAIR BRAIDED HERE!!! I paid for box braids and they did the worst job. I took them out after only two weeks. My hair is damaged with breakage and bald spots. They braid too tight and don’t listen. The hair they used is extremely irritating and left my scalp burning and inflamed.
