Nice people but pedicure was horrible. A 45 min wait for 1 min of massage. Paint job was not good either. Do not go if they are busy. I wanted to relax instead I feel like I wasted my money.

My honest opinion I think they do a swell job for what they do for their customers when they come in to get their nails done. I have been in there many times and they have not disappointed me at all. You know they have been in this business for a very long time to do what they do. Thank you, truly appreciate for the beautiful nails you guys give us. Including the men making their nails look cleaner.

I’ve been to local versions of “high end” nail salons with subpar services and outrageous pricing. I am a professional cosmetologist for over 10 years and to me in a nail salon, the absolute necessity is sanitation and sterilization (*cleanliness). Fairlea Nails does provide and ensures all instruments are removed from a sanitized process packet and open them before your service. I came here for the first time as a walk in client. I was acknowledged with friendly greetings, the salon has a calming environment, pristine cleanliness. The service I had was Pedicure- Classic with Callus removal. I was impressed with the service. My son and I have been going back for pedicures and I started to notice over time, the attention to detail was not so positive and felt rushed, where times there was nobody in the waiting area. It eventually became apparent that the shaping and filing process from my first pedicure experience here was no longer a pedicure service (*except for the callus removal, which was done properly) and became more of a pay for the pedicure price to paint your toenails. The 2 minute rush massage is nothing to be desired if you’re lookin for relaxation. I’m not thrilled with the lack of filing and shaping our toenails. It truly is not a time enduring process to shape your toenails to be more uniform. I always have a basic polish, no gel, and the polish does last while my toenails grow out, without chipping. I changed my initial review from 5 stars and wonderful overall relaxing and detail to the pedicure process to the 1 star for this reason. I stopped going to LJ’s at Walmart shopping mall due to the lack of sanitation and sterilization to try here. I’ve since found the New River Greenbrier Technical College Cosmetology school and the students are tipped well, to say the least! The pedicures are extremely (*relatively) inexpensive and the quality of work and proper pedicure performance is on point. That’s where I will continue to go upon their reopening.

I liked this salon a lot, a bit pricey, $125.00 for A Mani/ pedi.

Very polite staff, place is a bit dusty, could use maybe an extra person to clean after each client because they are busy and there are only 2 people working so, they go from client to client without cleaning in between. I got the shellac French mani, which is the polish on top of my natural nails. I had 2 broken natural finger nails so they had to put a fake nail tip on top of my natural nail and they created a nail with what they called “healthy powder”. Those two nails they had to make I didn’t like them because, they are not smooth, the look too thick compared to my natural nails but I guess it’s ok. The shellac is nice but the White tips on my natural nails look all uneven and you can see my nail line underneath. But from the distance you can’t tell. They work too fast, no time for detail or care, they work really fast and that makes the quality of the work somehow poor. I paid $35.00 for the shellac and $5.00 extra per nail they had to repair which I had 2 so that was $45.00 and I gave her a $5.00 tip. So a total of 50 bucks, she told me this mani was going to last me a month, if it does last that long I guess the price is worth it, we shall see. Will I be back? Yes I will go back, I would like to try a solid color on shellac

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI went in for a full set acrylics with no color and didn’t want any gel top coat, which I stated when they asked what service I was in for. The tech didn’t speak to me the ENTIRE time. When she was done with the acrylic she proceeded to put on a top coat of gel that I specifically asked NOT to have. And then charged me $20 for it! A set of nails that shouldn’t have cost more than $35 in total cost me $60! Along with that they were bumpy, uneven and I immediately cried in my car!! AWFUL! I went once and will never go again. When people bring up the business I tell them my experience. There is zero reason to gouge your customers like that.
