My name is Tammy and I have been a Barber in Griffin since 2002. I opened my Old School Barber Shop in 2018. We offer high quality haircuts for Boys to Men. We specialize in Flat Tops, Fades, Military Cuts, Hot Lather Head and Neck Straight Razor Shaves, Beard Trims and Shampoos. *Color is by appointment only. Meet my crew: Justin has been cutting, styling, and coloring men and women’s hair since 2009. Dillon grew up in barber shops. In 2019 he decided to follow in my footsteps and carry on the traditions as a 2nd generation barber. Caitlin has been cutting and styling hair since 2016. Scott has been cutting, styling and coloring men and women’s hair since 1986. We offer Reuzel and STMNT products for sale.

This was my first time using Faded Traditions. After reading so many good reviews I decided to give them a try. I had a small wait, but it wasn’t bad. Very nice environment to wait in. Dillon was the one who became available first. I told him that I wanted my beard trimmed and head shaved. He faded my beard better than anyone else ever has before! Super great guy and we had great conversation. He even used an old school straight razor to shave the back of my neck and cleaned it with a hot towel. All for $20! I will definitely be back!

Love this place! I’ve been searching for a new hair place for a few years since my last hairstylist retired. I’ve heard of this place before, my dad goes there, but I always thought they only did men’s hair. Most of them only do men but there are two that do women’s hair. We’ve been to several places all over Griffin but none of them were a very good fit but this place feels like home. Both of my daughters got their hair cut today and we loved the whole vibe and feel of this place. There were plenty of barbers and plenty of seating. They had a table set up with cookies and cinnamon rolls and they had drinks. They have a spot for kids to draw and color. We will definitely be back.

Took my son here to get his haircut. The only negative in the experience is the door stays locked until exact time they open and the patrons waiting are not as polite as others. It is sign in first come unless you have appointments and you could be first person waiting and not be the first one in the door. Even though they are friendly and the haircut was good. For me it is not worth the rudeness of other patrons for myself. If it were my shop, I would fix that issue.

Just wow. Bad with names but pretty sure it was Tammy the owner that gave me my cut and beard trim. Was in the area from Ohio helping fam move in from Cali and no idea what I wanted besides half the beard length. Tammy’s(my apologies if incorrect) suggestions, cut, trim, straight blade finishing, and conversation was literally the best I’ve ever had. I will be looking for a new barber in my area and will let my hair and beard go next time I plan a visit just to let Tammy work her magic again. Great products too! Always looked for beard conditioner and they’re the first place I found it.

My son is the pickiest when it comes to his hair but he is also very shy and sometimes has a hard time communicating what he wants done. Caitlin did a wonderful job listening to him and giving him the cut he wanted. This is the happiest he has been with a haircut in a long time. Definitely worth our hour and a half drive.
