This was my first experience at Faces and Nails Spa . I typically go to locations closer to where I live in LIC. However I had not found a place I love. I researched and read reviews wanting to give this place a try. It was inviting and everyone was exceptionally nice. My nail tech, Betty, was fantastic! She did a gel manicure giving me the most vibrant red which is exactly what I was looking for. Her attention to detail was amazing. Will definitely be back to see Betty and will bring along my husband for a basic manicure!

I stopped in on a Friday afternoon without an appointment, and they were able to fit me in right away! Gel manicures are $35, but since mine was not a simple gel manicure I paid $40. It is cash only. The place is clean, tools are hygienic, the employees are friendly, and it has a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I love this salon! All the nail techs are so nice, and so is the receptionist. The salon was very clean both times I went, and the ambience + aroma is perfect. The nail techs always confirm they are understanding what you want correctly and check after they start painting that it is good. Both times I had come here they gave me exactly what I wanted. I’m not sure why some reviews say they are over priced, there are many salons in Astoria that charge more/the same and don’t do nearly as good of a job with the nails or service.

I Love Love Love this place’s. My experience has been great every time I’ve went. The entire staff is great here. Have had my nails done from a few of the girls there. I’m bad with names, which is why when I call I just tell them to book me with whoever is available soonest. But I knew the first time I walked this would be my nail place! Friendly people and are skilled and pro at what they do. 100% recommended

This place is way too expensive for the quality of work they provide. 67 dollars for just a powder manicure. No designs or anything. My normal nail lady was out of town so I decided to give this place a shot and it was a complete waste of money. I normally pay that amount of money or even less for a powder manicure AND a regular pedicure. I even had to tell her to shape my nails because they were crooked and she was going to just leave them like that. It also took 2 hours just to get that done which is an absurd amount of time for the end result to be that poor. It hasn’t even been a full 2 weeks and they’re already starting to chip. She also started to huff and puff multiple times when she couldn’t soak off the previous set which is extremely unprofessional and made me extremely uncomfortable. No other salon has ever had a problem to soak off my nails before. I thought I just had to “trust the process” but that most definitely was not the case. I do not recommend this place at all.

I have been coming to Faces and Nails Spa for a few years. I love this place; it’s always very friendly and super clean. The spa is cute and cozy. Betty is the best manicurist; she is friendly and super professional. Jimi, the manager, is fantastic, too; he is always super helpful! This place is top-notch. I live in Jackson Heights and travel to Astoria to get my nails done here. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been coming to this place for many years and their amazing service hasn’t changed. All the nail technicians ladies are well trained and friendly! The salon is beautifully organized and equipment are kept very clean, and is always being sanitized. I have been many other nail salons and they always seem to damage my nails with low quality products. If you are in the neighborhood and need nail service, Highly recommend them!!

I had a very rude encounter with the owner of this establishment. It was time for me to go wash my hands, and I could not locate the paper towels. I sat down with wet hands, and the manicurist asked me if I couldn’t find the paper towels. I informed her that I did not see it, and she kindly got up to get me some so that I may dry my hands. Upon returning with the paper towels, the owner had asked me in a snarky, rude and condescending way if I was not able to locate the paper towels. It was obvious that I didn’t being that my hands were visibly wet, and I already previously had this conversation with the manicurist. The owner then proceeded to come up to me instigating the situation further and asking if there was a problem. I continued in a back-and-forth with her for a good 10 minutes. The conversation was pointless, no issue was resolved. It was very rude & very unprofessional. Will never be coming back to this establishment. If you were looking to get your nails done near this area, try out well show. That nail salon never disappoints or lets me down. Also shout out to my girl Betty! She was sweet and kind during the whole ordeal.
