Really awesome skin care store right in down town Newburyport! They even do facials and other skin treatments there in a luxurious private room. Owner Khaki and her staff will help you find solutions tailored to you and your skin type. I have extremely dry skin and they showed me a nighttime oil that keeps my skin hydrated overnight and makes a huge difference. The skin treatments are amazing as well – my go to’s are the tropical facial with dermaplaning add on. The environment in the store is really low pressure, they care about helping you. They’ll even give you some free samples so you can figure out what’s going to work for you. Can’t recommend them enough!

Khaki and Kim are incredible!!! I have been receiving facials from Khaki for years now and she always makes sure I feel comfortable. I also appreciate that she does not do too many extractions. I am so grateful to find a place that uses clean products and still delivers a great facial. Kim waxed my eyebrows this last time and they look great. They also have great offerings for clean beauty products. Face Food is the best and the people make it even better!!

I love the products at this store- they have recently gotten me addicted to Osea Malibu. Unfortunately I would caution people against their highly advertised pro-cell treatment. Firstly, it was my first treatment there and the esthetician kept me waiting in a small waiting area for over 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time while chatting with another client about various things. It got to the point where I almost left as they both could very clearly see me waiting there for quite some time. The procedure itself was incredibly quick- I added on a dermaplane for $35 which was supposed to include a massage (I was told), which was completed in 1/3 of the time other spas have done it, which was fine, but there was no massage. As for the treatment itself, I’m 34 with blemish-free skin, but I desired it done as a hopeful preventative against smile lines and it made them significantly worse. Now I have two severe lines inside the smile lines I was trying to alleviate, which I didn’t have before, as well as what seems like less firmness in the area overall. For such an expensive treatment (over $350 with tip) (even though it’s advertised on their Instagram account at $150 and $200) I reached out to both the esthetician that performed the treatment as well as their social media account to see if there was a reason this could be/any advice on the matter or any follow up procedure or treatment that could be done…anything…as I was so disappointed…and the response I received was that skin is dehydrated and that it would “settle”in time. Unfortunately it did not, so I followed up with pictures a week later as I was very concerned. The response I got was “I will pass this along”, and nothing further. I didn’t expect a refund or anything of that matter, just ANY sort of helpful response or suggestion of further treatment would have been appreciated. Perhaps the treatment works for much more mature skin but it definitely did not do as advertised for me, someone who was beginning to show signs of a loss of elasticity around the mouth. I just really would have hoped that they would have had better customer service than what I experienced, as nothing about my experience made me want to return, and I’ll be purchasing my products online going forward.

I wish there was an option for no stars at all!! I had made an appointment online weeks ago for a facial today. I was so happy I finally found a good reviewed place to receive a holistic facial. I arrive a few minutes early and I’m asked for my shot card in order to receive unmasked services aka a facial. I was told they could not take me as I have not conformed to society and fear based beliefs and got the shot! Upon booking my services online I was never notified of these policies or else I wouldn’t have booked them.

I have been getting facials from Khaki for over two years now. My skin has drastically increased in wellness since I started seeing her. I used to suffer from significant congestion and acne. I can proudly say that my experience with those two issues has decreased and that I feel comfortable without wearing makeup. I love that she has a storefront now and her own products are amazing. I use everything from her own brand line and have always been impressed. I cannot live without her products!
