They don’t interact with new customers. Owner never introduced herself just said you’re next and started to work talked to her next customer the whole time she worked on me. Beautiful shoppe but didn’t feel welcomed.

Omg where do I start!!! This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had and when I say I am telling everyone that I know to spread the word about my terrible experience with Tasha. My appointment was booked two days before my baby shower. I was a potential new client when I arrived with my son. My first encounter was a sign on the door that said no kids. I went in to see if she would make an exception since I was not notified that children where not allowed. She refused because it was against policy which was fine but my only issue was that the no kids policy was no where on her style seat..the booking email…nor the reminder email. I went back in just to ask the representative to show me where I overlooked the no child policy on Tasha’s styleseat account and she was unable to locate it as well. Tasha at this point had the nastiest attitude and was extremely rude to me all because I had my son who is five and extremely quite. As a potential loyal client I was extremely surprised at how I was treated by the owner. What I hope she can take away from this is that she is not just an owner but a representative of the community of black owned businesses. She has to remember that she plays a role in the stigma that black owned businesses don’t provide proper customer service. All up until attempting to patronize her establishment I was eager to support all forms of black owned establishments. People like Tasha Mac are a part of the problem. She lacks humbleness in understanding that she is successful only because of the clients that support her and once you loose sight of appreciating any and all people that choose you out of all people in this industry to support you will fail. All in all it was a terrible experience and the people that I know of that go to her for services are outraged as well and we all decided not only to use the power of word of mouth to speak on this issue but she has lost those individuals as clients as well. Icing on the cake is that she charged my card for the full services that I did not receive because I was turned away even though I made it to my apppointment on time. I filed a dispute with my bank regarding the charge so even though she called herself still charging me a cancellation fee the money will be returned. Anyway lesson learned, true colors revealed and these are the reviews that I take seriously when considering spending money with any business. I refuse to spend my hard earned money with people who treat me like a number. I hope she sees this review and uses it as a reflective experience to do better.

I have had the best experience getting my eyebrows arched and tinted and my face waxed. My stylist took the time to show me how to fill in my brows and I purchase the brow powder… I love the shop atmosphere decorated so lovely!!!

I wanted individual lashes. They did not have the color (i.e., black) I wanted. Also, you could barely see them. If you are looking for a plain look, this is your place. However, if you desire something a little more daring, keep looking. When asked if I could have more lashes added so I could actually see them, her response was, “we don’t do that!” I’ve NEVER heard of any place doing that. This was a first…. and last visit.

Unprofessional, non friendly environment. Tech never introduced herself just told me to sit in her chair. No customer service skills. I left looking like a Halloween witch. Lashes fell off the next day. Eyebrow tint was horrific. She charged my cc a 20% tip the next day that I never agreed to. Never again!

Christina did miracles with my eyebrows they came out better than I could ever hope to see my eyebrows, I will be coming back for more of their services. Very professional and nice staff, atmosphere was pleasant!
