Steven Eyre is the best, he is very thorough; explains the issue and treatment process then provides the treatment. He always does so in a very efficient manner. I appreciate being able to get in and out quickly. I have been here several times in the last ten years and have always had a positive experience.

I became a patient with Eyre Dermatology a few months ago so that I could have a routine mole check every 2 years. But about 2 weeks ago I was pricked by a rose thorn. I thought nothing of it until a week later I developed a painful sore at the spot. After a couple days it didn’t go away, so I looked it up and saw that it could be a bacterial or fungal infection. I called Eyre dermatology the next day at 8am and they got me an appointment that day at 10:15am! I met with Dr. Eyre and he was awesome! He took a culture of it, gave me instructions on how to clean the sore, and prescribed me antibiotics. He let me know to call immediately if it does not get better. Within a day it was already improving. It has been 5 days and it is almost completely healed and the culture came back that it was a staph infection, so I am so grateful that they saw me immediately and got me taken care of asap. Dr. Eyre listened to my issue and was so awesome at helping me and addressing any concerns I had. Highly recommend!

This is THE best dermatologist I’ve had. I’ve been so impressed with the efficient, effective, and genuine service. The receptionist (I wish I knew her name but I’ll find out when I go it next) is a literal angel. I came in very stressed once and she was so kind and understanding and helped me get everything sorted out. I’m always surprised at how quickly I come in and go out. As a full time college student with a job, I truly appreciate how quick they make the appointments and how understanding they are of my busy schedule. I would give more stars if I could.

Dr Eyre is a very good Dr in that he is the best at his profession. I always look forward to seeing him again. He also is a great conversationalist. I hardly ever think about pain involved in removing skin lesions because he is talking about a recent trip or hike in So. Utah. He makes me feel very comfortable

Dr. Eyre was awesome. He patiently listened to my whole story, took some skin samples and had a solution in just a couple of minutes (I’ve been dealing with this issue for over a year with another doctor with no solutions). He didn’t have any patients waiting, so he let me take a look at my skin samples under the microscope! I’m a student so I was fascinated by that. I had a great experience at this doctor’s office.

I took my 3 yr old son to see Dr. Steven Eyre. The staff was wonderful. The office was very nice, very clean and had great toys for my son. The bad thing was, I felt that the Dr. didn’t handle my 3 yr old well at all!! He is 3, of course he isn’t going to be quiet and hold still, especially for a stranger, but Dr. Eyre didn’t understand this. Dr. Eyre was rude, impatient, and told me what I should or shouldn’t be doing with him. He even tried to tell him what to do several times. He became frustrated and just said things that shocked me. I realize he is not a pediatric Dr. but he is still a professional. I was not impressed at all, and will never go back. If you have a child needing a dermatologist, I would NOT recommend him!

I have been fighting a strange allergic reaction of some sort for 3 months now, and I have made the rounds with doctors and treatments and haven’t gotten any real answers. Dr. Eyre was very patient in listening to my entire story and suggesting some possible things that other doctors haven’t mentioned at all. He was impressed by how much I had deducted about the condition on my own, and he is helping me to take active steps in finding a solution. While the nurse was helping me at the end of my appointment, he came back in and told me some more information that he had just read about. He had taken the time to research some possible conditions and try to find the answers for me. I appreciated all he did to try and help me find the solution to my problem.

The wait time was longer than I anticipated (I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time and waiting 15~ minutes past it.) Dr. Eyre came into the appointment room shortly after I was brought back. He listened to me and I was treated. My overall care was quick and efficient.

My husband had a biopsy done because he was losing all of his hair. We went to Eyre because we had heard that they were great and knew what they were doing. It turned out when the biopsy came back Dr. Eyre did not know what the problem was and had to go to another dermatologist to find out what was going on without informing us first and we have now been charged for both doctors. If we had known that Dr. Eyre was not going to have the knowledge necessary to help us solve the problem and was going to cause us to have to pay for another doctor anyway we would have just gone to the other doctor in the first place so that we didn’t have to deal with Eyre. It’s like going to a car shop and having them say we can’t tell you what’s wrong but we have a friend who can, now pay us for looking at your car and telling you we can’t help and pay our friend for solving the priblem. So ridiculous.

Staff is friendly, Dr. S. Eyre was brisk and unthorough on two occasions. I felt as if he was talking more to the medical staff about the notes to take, prescriptions to give, and patient history, than to the patient about their complaints, concerns, and what they are currently doing about the issue. Did not inspect multiple affected areas of the body on check up visit or week follow up. Then gives quick instructions and gets up to leave. On both occasions I had to stop him to confirm medication instructions and ask questions. When I called the office, as instructed, for blood work results prior to taking a prescribed medication, the nurses line goes strait to a voicemail. I called a total of 6 times throughout the day, left three different messages for the nurse, and never heard back within the day I was supposed to take the medication on.
