This business discriminates based on gender. I have been going to this location for awhile now and was surprised the first time when I was told I had to pay more because I am a male. After discussing with the owner, Sahjatta, she said that men have thicker hair and that is why they are charged more. If I had unkept eyebrows I would understand the reason for an up-charge but I have my eyebrows threaded at least 2-3 times a month and the additional fee wasn’t justified. I have had to call each time and speak with Sahjatta and again explain the extra fee isn’t justified. Today she told me that she was only making an exception one time and that she no longer wanted my business and I should go elsewhere and then hung up on me. The extra $3 isn’t going to put me in debt but I’m not willing to tolerate gender discrimination. This business likely gets away with it because not as many men get their eyebrows threaded as women. You may not think this review is revenant to you if you do not identify as male, but if you also believe women should be getting paid the same for the same job as a man then you should not be giving this place your business. There is simply no place for discrimination and it ends with you.

i saw a similar review to mine, this isn’t the first time this has happened i had the lady with the wavy hair and it took her under a minute, she barely trimmed them and it was so so painful for no reason. my eyebrows are gonna take forever to grow back and they aren’t even shaped like they used to be. i’ve been a customer here for a while now but i don’t think i’m gonna take the chance again i’ll be finding somewhere new.

I’ve been here several times now. I’m not sure of the name of the woman who works here most often, but she’s fabulous. Very thorough, not in a rush and does an incredibly good job. Not painful, very precise, and never a mistake. Definitely my go to threading place in weymouth!
