I went to get my eyebrows threaded at ‘Amazing Eyebrows Threading’ inside of Holyoke mall. A terrible job was done. I have very tame and even eyebrows, therefore a lot of skill was not required. When I first walked in, three ladies were sitting there. Two looked to be older (thirties?) and then there was a younger girl- perhaps early twenties. I cannot speak for the older women but the younger girl who did my eyebrows is not skilled enough to be doing eyebrows. I asked only two things, to first please keep them even and to keep them thick and not make them thinner. She did the exact opposite. My eyebrows came out uneven and one eyebrow was much thinner than the other. It’s unfortunate as I get my eyebrows done a lot and like to look up reviews beforehand but as I just moved to western mass, I thought I’d give this place a chance. My fault. One last note, I had what looked to be little burn or thread marks for the next few days which has never happened before when getting my eyebrows done.

They do an okay job. My eyebrows are thick and the hair is coarse so you have to take a little extra time cleaning them up, nicely. The girls here are not friendly at all, they even seemed bothered by their customers. Every time I have gone here I tip $6 or more even with their price being $12. They don’t take the time to listen to your request, they brush you off “like whatever, let’s just hurry up”. I was a repeat customer but I won’t be coming here anymore. They rush to get you out of the chair even with no one else waiting. I would not recommend going to this place.

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI wish I could say that my recent visit went well for brow threading. I use to go here and was pleased with their service. I went on Saturday to have my eyebrows done, they were suppose to open at 10am. The lights were on but literally waited for 45 minutes and the place still wasn’t opened. So unprofessional and a waste of my time.

My daughter went in and she came out with half of her eyebrow missing on one side. When I complained to the woman, she said it was my daughter’s eyebrow that didn’t have enough hair. I know what hair was on my daughter’s face. I’ve been looking at her for 15 years.

I don’t go anywhere else to get my eyebrows done. My eyebrows aren’t thick so I can’t speak to the other reviews in regards to that, but I’ve been going there for over a year and have always been satisfied.
