Absolutely wonderful staff and welcoming vibe. I go to Josh to get mine and my Mom’s locs touched up and he’ll not just tighten up your fade, but he can get your eyebrows on point too if you ask him to. All around, I got mad respect and love for them all. Most definitely recommend people of all hair types to check them out. They don’t discriminate like some shops often do.

So if you go here make sure to not let the guy named josh cut your hair. The guy is pretty good at dreading/braiding hair but outside of that there’s nothing really left for him to offer. His customer service was average but none of that matters if you can’t deliver a good fade and line up. If your manager happens to show you this review, “Go back to barber school dude”

Extraordinary Hair Designers is a welcoming, friendly salon that can do it all! I go there to get my locs maintained, and Josh takes care of it for a reasonbale price! I have not used the other barbers and stylists, but their work always leaves looking good too. 🙂 I started my locs here and 15 years later, I’m getting them maintained here. Check out this South Tacoma Pearl, if you need great service for anyone who walks through the door.
