Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI called the shop using the number listed here on Google and was greeted by its owner, Paradise. I was looking to find a Stylist who could accommodate a very last minute appointment, as a friend of mine had another stylist cancel on her same day as she prepared to leave the country for her birthday trip. Paradise was very polite and professional and did not seem at all put off by my rush request. She connected me with one of her stylist, Paulette, who I’ve received exceptional service from before and have heard nothing but great things about since. Paulette was able to offer my friend a same day appointment which was truly a saving grace for her! I called the shop using the number listed here on Google and was greeted by its owner, Paradise. I was looking to find a Stylist who could accommodate a very last minute appointment, as a friend of mine had another stylist cancel on her same day as she prepared to leave the country for her birthday trip. Paradise was very polite and professional and did not seem at all put off by my rush request. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityWay too many inconsistencies. I first booked with Dery who has done my hair before. My first experienced consisted of him being overbooked and him doing four heads at once. So my appt was 4:30 I didn’t leave the shop until after 11pm. There was an apology but no discount or sympathy for my time. I booked a service via the websitewith Dery a few months later paid my deposit and then was notified that I was going to be serviced by Pauly since the service I requested wasn’t what Dery wanted to do. I didn’t like how the situation was handled. If I booked with someone and the website allowed me to book it the service shouldn’t be switched last min. Well I requested my deposit back since all these changes were being made and I was never responded to. I spoke with the owner who didn’t see like she cared to resolve it. Not good customer service and if you schedule an appt I recommend taking the day off so you can devote your entire day.Way too many inconsistencies. Went there for my dirty 30 and she cancelled at the last minute with no excuse or apology or anything. She was not even at the salon when I showed up, I found out from the girl working there, so nope didn’t even get to have my hair done.
