I walked into the salon and asked for a wash, conditioner, treatment, trim, and twist out. The stylist told me that it would be $400 dollars. I then changed my mind and asked for a wash and comb coils without the trim and treatment. The stylist informed me that it would still be $400 dollars. I asked for a break down of how they came to $400 and was told simply because of the thickness and texture of my hair. I went to an African braiding place afterwards and was charged $120 for everything and the look came out fantastic after only 2 and a half hours of workt. Do not waste your time and money with folks that want to rip you off because you have natural hair and shame on this establishment for perpetuating this stigma.
