Today was my first time at Expert Nails & Spa and I’ll definitely be back. Tammy removed my acrylic nails and filed my natural nails into a beautiful, flattering short almond shape. I opted for the SNS dipping powder and 3 of the 5 colors glow in the dark. Very pleased!

Very rushed job that was done poorly. I got a mani and pedi with gel polish and after 4 days, two fingers had already lost the gel polish. As you can see, they also did a poor job of cleaning up my cuticles and now they look so unkept. Will not be returning here!

Super disappointed with the service here. We were not new customers at this place. We had good service previously but that was not the case today. It was so bad that we will never go back. After I realized that the color was incorrect for my daughter’s nails I leaned over and quietly asked if there is a way to get them corrected. The technician then started telling the other workers what I asked. Then another yelled to my daughter asking if she liked them. Telling my daughter that it seemed like my daughter liked her nails. My daughter was completely embarrassed. Then the lady was asking her in her face what color she wanted. Then they told me I needed to pay $40 more because my daughter had gotten gel polish on her toes. This was after I had already been charged $397 for our nails and a pedicure. So I asked them to fix it since they wanted $40. I’m not really sure why it is wrong to asked to get what you paid for but apparently here it is. This has ruined my day. I really hate complaining and don’t feel I should be made to feel bad for asking for what I paid for. And to top it off a true Karen piped in that she would appreciate it if I wasn’t doing this in front of her son. Apparently she doesn’t want her son to see a parent defend their child or stand up for anything. Needless to say I will not be returning and would not recommend to anyone. If you don’t like how your nails turn out they get super upset and don’t want to fix. While I was there 3 people came in complaining about their nails that were done the day before.

I moved to this part of Austin back in October 2020 and have been going to Expert Nails ever since. I think I have been 10x by now and it’s very consistent. Every tech has been great for both pedicures and dip manicures on natural nails. Notably, Max has done a great job on my dip manicures. But I must say, Tammy is the absolute best. I always call before coming by and have never had to wait more than 15 minutes or so. The one time my wait time was pushing 20 minutes they felt so bad and were very apologetic. I feel like their pricing is very reasonable and they do a great job. I do wish more of their pedicure options offered callus treatment. I’ll continue going here many times to come!

I’ve been getting my natural nails done for at least 15 years…. Hands down this spa has been the best experience I’ve had. The staff is very friendly, they got me in and out in an hour for both my pedi and mani. But the best part is, they still delivered QUALITY nails!!!! My nails look absolutely amazing!!!!! They feel strong, look absolutely stunning, even color, and shape…. very very well done!!!!

I’ve tried countless salons during my 13+ years in Austin and Expert Nails is by far the best. They offer consistent quality, friendly service and honor their appointments. The staff is accommodating and regularly works outside of posted business hours to ensure their clients are taken care of. The salon is always clean and well-kept, so it’s the ideal spot for a relaxing day of pampering or a quick mani/pedi, depending on what you need. Grateful for this hardworking, talented team that always delivers exceptional results!

Nails look good. However, the service was not great. The nails techs barely talk to you and only each other. The total of my nails was $45 at the beginning and because I got ombré the total ended up at $75. I’ve been to a handful of nail salons and have never been charged $75 for simple ombre nails. My friend asked to get gems and asked multiple times how much it would be and every time they would turn to each other and talk before giving her an answer. At the end, the lady made my friend and I post good reviews for them for a “discount”. She said the nails were going to be $80 and $5 off if we left a review. That makes no sense as she said they were $75 before she told us to leave a review. Our first sign should’ve been them failing to show us their menu. If you want to spend all your money on a simple manicure, this is the place to go.

I have been to Expert Nails a few times now, and can attest to the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the service I have received! I’ve received both gel manicures and a dip manicure, and all have been well done. I look forward to returning for my next one!
