I am very upset with my recent experience here. I went in on Saturday for a French manicure. The woman who helped me was very nice however either had no idea how to do a French or just completely did mine wrong. They had me pay before she started painting my nails which is typical however I wish did not happen because I paid $24 for a disaster. After putting the white on I noticed the white was jagged and uneven from nail to nail. She looked at one nail and said “I have to fix that”. She fixed it however I think made it worse than before. By the end she looked at my nails and said I am so sorry, you can come back to get them fixed and then walked away to help someone else. I spent over an hour in there and was left with TERRIBLE nails that I wanted to look nice for Valentines day. I did not have time to get them fixed. Plus a day later the ends have raised up and completely chipped off. I cannot believe I paid for this. She told me she had to do my nails differently because I had white spots on my nails and then tried to tell me I should have gotten Gel. I told her that the white spots were from me doing gel a few months ago and I just wanted a normal polish because I am a mom who doesn’t have time to keep up with my nails. (I honestly didn’t care about the white spots so I wish it was a conversation before she decided to do my nails a different way) I was so excited for this time to myself which did nothing but stress me out and have me leaving in tears. I am so disappointed in this place.

I don’t frequently get a mani-pedi, but I have an event coming up, so I treated myself to a deluxe pedicure and a manicure. The atmosphere was very relaxing, the staff was friendly, and I really enjoyed my self-care experience. Wayyyyy over priced and the quality doesn’t stack up to the pricing. My pedicure looked like my toddler did it. They had to fix a nail after I had sat drying for over an hour (which shouldn’t of happened) and the one that was fixed is awful. It looks like the polish is lifting. My pedicure will not last my trip. My gel manicure I had to wait til someone else’s manicure finished because they only had 1 of the color that I wanted. The job that was done was mediocre at best. If I had time before my trip I would go somewhere else to have my polish on my toes and nails redone, but unfortunately I don’t. The salon itself was pretty but the quality and pricing just wasn’t there.

i had my 3rd visit today to Exotic Nails and Spa. This was my 3rd dip powder which i have been really impressed with– it takes less time and seems less damaging than the gel manicure i was getting at another salon in Acton. It may cost more, but i’m convinced it’s worth it Today, i decided to try a Spa Pedicure at Exotic Nails and Spa. My technician was Dany — her technique was excellent as was her attention to detail, time management and efficiency. The pedicure was $5 more than i had paid at my former salon, but everything about it was better–from the most comfortable chairs i had ever experienced to the lotions, hot stones and massage . i highly recommend this salon/spa! Extra kudos to Dany!

This review is due to their customer service. I called to make an appointment for myself and my daughters and was given a time the next day. When I went in, they claimed there was no appointment in the calendar. That whomever took my call did so incorrectly and that I had to call back some other time to book. Like it was my fault they messed up, and too bad for me and my daughters. In my opinion they could have tried a little harder (or at all) to rectify their mistake. Definitely disappointed and will find somewhere else to go from now on.

Have been a couple times as a walk in for pedicure service & manicure services. Both times great care is taken and be good job done. All nail shops are absolutely not created equal nor are the technicians equal in experience. Exotic excels. Charity not only did a great job w/pedi- she gave very helpful tips for continued care without being intrusive or presumptuous. Her knowledge was impressive if not insightful and I’d readily look to see her again when in the area!
