I love this salon! I moved here almost 2 years ago, and I went through 4 salons before I found a place that knew what they were doing and also a place that actually cared to listen to what its clients wanted. Many stylists think they know best, and it does not work that way. Hair needs to be individualized based on the client, and they DO that here. I also love that the owner is very friendly; everyone here is. It does not have your typical stuck-up salon feel. It is warm and friendly!

Debby was marvelous! I got my obligatory postpartum haircut (8-10” off!) and I was so happy with my haircut. There were two students accompanying Debby, and you can tell that she took pride in the services she provided. She made sure they did everything the way she would do it, including correcting the way they shampooed my hair. She was super attentive, personable, and overall an excellent stylist for Deva cuts and curly hair. I have 2B/2C hair and I am always hesitant when I get a short/medium cut because I don’t want to end up looking like Lord Farquad from Shrek. Debby did such a great job achieving the cut that I wanted and making sure that the layers fit and framed my round face properly. I’ll be a repeat customer, for sure!

I scheduled a Deva cut with Debby and was extremely happy with the results. I have thick curly hair that always seems to be cut unevenly, into a triangle, or the stylist tries to pressure me into a Brazilian or buying products. Debby is an extremely talented stylist and even gave me some tips on diffusing my hair which has really made a difference. I’m very happy with my results

I have never actually had my hair colored whatsoever in the past and Jessica was super helpful and patient with all of my questions! She gave me a super outline/education about basics of hair coloring, process, options, and maintenance and then helped me pick a color/style. She was friendly and professional and efficient. At the end of the session, I was happy with the results but not entirely thrilled with the color I had chosen. Without me even bringing it up, Jessica said, “I can tell you don’t totally LOVE it, so let’s tweak it until you do!” She then took extra time to insist we try a slightly different color and went out of her way to redo some of the steps and she created a look I totally love! The end result exceeded my expectations, I love it, and it’s totally due to all of her time and expertise. I’ll try and post a before and after photo in the photos, the end result is a major transformation. Jessica went above and beyond! Exhale also is always easy to make appointments with, staff are super helpful and friendly, and it is clean and relaxing. I had an AMAZING experience with Katie. This was my first time at Exhale. I had excellent customer service. Brittany was so warm and welcoming. Katie transformed my hair. I was feeling extremely drab and worn down, not having touched my hair in almost 2 years since having a baby and I left on the verge of tears I was so HAPPY! Since I sat in her chair, she was realistic talking to me about my hair goals and I loved that she talked me through her process. It came out gorgeous. Thank you a million times, I finally feel like me again!

Debbie, the owner, is wonderful, she made a thorough evaluation of my hair’s condition and made recommendations blended with what I wanted my cut to achieve. I do not trust easy when it comes to my hair, as I have had my curly hair ruined and had to spend years growing and trimming to recover. I trust Debbie, she has a great deal of knowledge and expertise with curly hair, and knows very well what not to do.
