this is difficult because I’ve never had this experience before where I’ve been utterly devastated. I was very excited because the salon just sparkled. The wash girl did a wonderful job. Each person who went before me had beautiful hair. Even though their hair wasn’t natural, I wasn’t frayed because I thought my request wasn’t really that difficult. I showed a picture of me with my hair in recent months and asked if my hair be TRIMMED to that length. Not only did my hair get cut awfull… I looked like a cockatoo… but my edges were also shaved away by the clippers. You could see where my edges should’ve been and where they had now found their new line. This was a few days before Christmas. When I saw my hair I was horrified and wanted to run away from that salon as fast as I could. I couldn’t pay fast enough. I am still wearing scarves to cover the scalping that was done to my hair. Having screwed up hair to enter the new year and holiday season has scarred me for life. I NEVER want to enter a salon again. I am only posting this because I don’t want other girls to become edgeless.. my scarves can’t even be on fleek.
