From the beginning to the end, the customer service was horrible. My sister and I were going to be 5 minutes late for our eyebrow wax as first-time customers, so we called in and the receptionist informed us that my sister already missed her appointment that was scheduled at 4 PM. I did not receive any email prior explaining that our sessions would be separate and that my sister was going to have her appointment 15 minutes before mine. I was under the impression from when I booked our eyebrow wax appointment on the phone, to the emails & text messages, that we both were going to have our appointment at around the same time. The receptionist wasn’t sympathetic to our situation at all (traffic jam) and just said that there was only a 9-minute grace period (4:24 PM). We got there at 4:19 PM, and the receptionist comes out and doesn’t welcome us or anything, but simply says she needs to see our ID’s and is going to take our temperature (standard COVID-19 regulation for businesses). I was not informed on the phone, through email or text that we had to bring any sort of identification, and this was frustrating as my 16 year old sister did not have any ID on her at the time. If we were informed of this earlier, we could of, of course prepared better. The receptionist just responds with “I don’t know either” even though she’s probably the one sending out emails to customers? She rushes me in to go to Kapua but is holding up my sister outside to try and check her ID on my sisters phone (that she took a picture of). I get inside to Kapua, who waxed my eyebrows, and did it great! I really loved them. We had convo but it wasn’t super genuine, and I tipped her and left, but my sister had to go with another waxer and was NOT happy with her eyebrows afterward. I had to wait outside the building because of COVID-19 regulations, but as my sister came outside she informed me that the receptionist (I wish I got her name) just straight up asked her “Would you like to leave any tip?” so unprofessional…she’s asking that to a 16-year old? Anyways, the customer service from the very start to the ending was not good. I would not recommend coming here, especially if this is your first time.

I got my eyebrows and lip done for the first time and I was pretty nervous, but Maria made me feel very comfortable and was incredibly sweet. She made sure I was happy with each of the steps she made to shape my eyebrows. One of the products (face exfoliating gel) is incredible! It lifts an incredible amount of dead skin and it even makes tattoos look rejuvenated after removing the dead skin on top of them!

They have amazing package deals esp if you are a student! I think for military as well. The estheticians here are very skilled.. I have a very low pain tolerance and they always make it bearable. I personally love Maria and Kapua. They used their own special wax formula which I quite enjoy.
