Hi All, I went today for body waxing as my time was 4:45PM. I have a lot of traffic on ma way so I reached at 4:52PM and was parking my car as I don’t see any spots available. Anyways I parked my car and went in 1 minutes. I told the that I have appointment today. she quickly said i just send you a message that we have a policy of 9 minutes late and we can do only 1 out of 3 things and then you can book some other day for your two things. I was literally speechless that someone is parking or stuck in traffic and only 1 or 2 minutes late how come you guys don’t provide the services. I am paying for it. the lady was so rude and her behavior was so bad and she was keep on saying that it is our policy. Bad experience never go at this place.

This center has an absurd 9 minute no show policy which is unfair and favorable to their business. The first time I was a minute late for my appointment and the front desk checked in another guest with my waxer right in front of my eyes. The second time I showed up 15 minutes early and waited patiently to be called for 20 minutes past my appointment time. The next time while I was driving around courthouse dr I called the front desk to let them know il be there in a couple of mins (still under 9 mins) and the receptionist insisted I have exactly 3 minutes to show up. Indeed I went under 3 minutes and the waxer was still with her previous guest and I waited to be checked in. You don’t need this sort of stress in your life just for a beauty service. Waxing itself is a hit or miss based on the service provider. I have been waxing in lunchbox and other local wax parlors and never had this sort of experience.

The waxing services were great. 3 stars because the girl behind the desk couldn’t calculate simple math. The change I received was incorrect and I asked her like ? Where’s the rest On the Invoice it includes the tip amount and she calculated it twice when she gave me my change but due to the lack of customer service the issue wasn’t corrected. I would go back but calculate my total amount & review it twice since it was a challenge for the receptionist.

The first time I visited everything was okay and the waxers were nice and explained everything so I was well informed. But I went back yesterday and the receptionists I felt were a bit unprofessional. I had reserved a spot for later in the afternoon and received my email confirmation saying everything was ready to go. Neither of the front desk girls were wearing a mask and both were a bit loud and speaking over each other.

I have been waxing off/on for almost 20 years, and have great and not so great technicians. I tried the Union City location of European Wax, and they are friendly and the store is clean! Also, the gal that waxed me was professional, and kept me at ease. She did a great job too!

Critical: QualityI came to this center Mid-March for my first ever Brazilian Wax and it was an awful experience. The receptionist was very sweet and welcoming, however the waxer was not. I told her it was my first time and I was very nervous and she was not reassuring in the slightest. I understood I would need to anticipate some level of pain and discomfort but I vow to never put myself through what happened that day. I was in PAIN like serious pain. The waxer left a lot of stragglers as well and didn’t tweeze to clean up. I do have sensitive skin so I anticipated some sort of reaction, but I was scared I might have an infection that’s how red, swollen, and bumpy my skin was afterwards. I will not be returning to EWC and will utilize the sugaring method which seems to work better for me. Please invest in kind and considerate esthetician’s.
