Critical: ProfessionalismI loved this location in Foster City and I LOVED going to Jillian (this is absolutely nothing against her, she’s amazing). However, as of 10/5, they no longer service you without being vaccinated which is RIDICULOUS. I pay monthly for the package and I have been going there since March with no issues. All of a sudden they are the only location implementing this policy and for what reason? I feel this is completely unprofessional and they deserve to lose business because of this idiotic choice to not service people who are not vaccinated. What about the people who aren’t able to get vaccinated because of health conditions?? Now, once they are open, they implemented a strict “No late policy” meaning if you are late for 1 min, you are being turned away. Their receptionist Anna have not even tried to work it out with me and offer me another time. She also declined to provide the contact information for her manager Shawna, her email address or even the time she can be reached. They have never mentioned this policy before and did not care to confirm if I was coming. There were no other customers and there is no way they could fill my time slot after 1 min. Clearly they do not care about their customers once they took their money.I remember one time when their associate was late for more than 10 min for my appointment due to traffic in the morning it was not a big deal. But here 1 min became a whole drama.I will cancel my membership and will dispute the changes with the credit card. I’m very disappointed in this branch. I booked an appointment online for a full Brazilian and they slotted me 15 minutes, which wasn’t enough time. My waxer was rushing and wanted to skip parts. She literally was going to send me without doing half the area, but charge me full price. Furthermore, my waxer wasn’t waiting for the wax to dry! Which ultimately made a huge mess and made the whole process unnecessarily more painful. I’ve been going to other branches of European wax center for the same service, and they were not like this. As I was paying, I can hear the manager in the front was telling my waxer to “hurry it up”.
